Suggestions needed

Can someone help me out? It's me and my girlfriend's 2 year anniversary on June 23 and I wanted to take her to Boston for the weekend. We've never been there before but heard it's a good time. We met people from Boston in South Beach last year and they were real cool people. Does anyone know any good hotels (no dives) that I can call? I'd like to take her out to a nice dinner, go out at night (listen to good music i.e. Jonathan Peters type music), let her go shopping, or whatever. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

It really depends on how much you want to spend on a hotel. Le Mederian, is near Fanuiel Hall and it is an amazing hotel. There are too many to name. Jonthan Peters music, can't find it here. Your best bet is checking out ahead of time to see who is at Avalon or Axis, maybe the palace they have had some OK line ups. And if your from NYC be ready to head home early!
