So a few friends and I decide to check out Embassy on Sat, b/c we hadn't been to L street in a while. Wasn't too impressed w/ this place, the tunes were ok at best, I believe the DJ's were Sal and Eddie, someone correct me if i'm wrong. The only thing this place had going for them were the girls... The last time I had been to this room it was the Playhouse, nothing has changed except for one wall being taken down behind the bar. We stayed for about 2 hrs at the most, then decided to check out Tequila rain. I couldn't believe the line to get into this place, it passed Avalon. Its kinda sad that a place like Tequila rain draws more of a crowd w/ its cheesy music, than Avalon or even Embassy. Now I don't go out all that much, but this night mad me realize what everyone has been saying for the past year or more, Boston's support for the club scene is def hurting.
