The clubs and bars in Boston close at 2 a.m. due to the law. Mayor Menion won't let them stay open later. It sucks!

I didn't know that we had a mayor named Menion, where is he the mayor of? I know that we have a mayor Menino, and he doesn't let the bars stay open because our current public transportation stops running at 12:30am and coupled with the fact that the officials feel that people can't be trusted to not drink and drive, this are some of the reasons that we can't stay open past two. But I am sure there are other reasons, such as maybe the people of Boston are so damn polictically correct they feel it might cause more trouble then solve more problems.
