Where in Phila?

Where is good in Philadelphia now? Is it dead since everyone is down the shore?
Used to go to Shampoo last year a lot but crowd getting a bit "cheesy".
Anyone know of anywhere else with a similar vibe?

Your best bet right now is Transit. The crowd is similar to Shampoo in its heyday...same promoter, some of the same performers. It's a little less crowded because of the summer, but not much.

i think wed. night and the fri/sat nights are till 6.

Transit is on Spring Garden Street. The crowd is soooo much better then Shampoo. The music on Wed. nights is great. They have had a lot of promotional nights since they have opened.

If you want to make the drive...Studio Six in AC is always happening on Sat. nights.
