When WE LOVE... asked renowned London party crew CHEW THE FAT! to host the Red Box at Space last year, it was a match made in heaven and the CHEW THE FAT! ARENA was born. With residents JEM HAYNES and PAUL ‘TROUBLE’ ARNOLD at the helm, the room was rocking season-long and provided some of the most cutting-edge beats to be found on the island, without ever losing that perfect party vibe needed to keep the Caja Roja bouncing all night long. Whether mixing up house, electro, breaks, techno, mashups, bootlegs or sneaky re-edits, it was without doubt the perfect soundtrack to Sunday nights!

This year that winning formula is set to be repeated – JEM HAYNES will be based on the island for the whole season and a permanent resident at the club. The perfect choice of resident, he’s 100% in tune with the vibe and unique mind-set of the worldwide audience that makes the clubbing pilgrimage to Space each week over the summer.

He’ll be joined 5 times by Chew The Fat! London resident KID BLUE, who is no stranger to keeping heads bopping on dancefloors across Europe, and Fat! founder PAUL ‘TROUBLE’ ARNOLD will make a welcome return to the decks after his battle with Leukaemia last year.

Add to that a host of Fat! friends – SOUL OF MAN, TAYO and JOE RANSOM all played at some of the first Chew The Fat! parties nearly 10 years ago, while 30Hz, BAOBINGA, THE ROUGE ELEMENT, DANGEROUS DAN (BANG GANG DJs), SICK RICK, BADLANDS and CANINESOUNDS represent the crop of deck technicians currently rocking Fat!’s monthly residency at The End in London.

And with ANDY GEORGE, HEAVYFEET and FOAMO - three of the hottest new up and coming house acts in the UK - completing the bill, you know it’s going to be the cutting edge sound of summer 2008 in the Red Box this year!
