Porat is arguably Croatia’s best club on the Adriatic coast, with Djs, live acts and exhibitions in a beautiful natural setting.
TIME OUT

PORAT is first a music club and secondly a spacious Natural Park with an art gallery, a lounge bar, a theatre and an open air dance floor. It’s a place where fine art meets the public. Our club nights offer house-techno-drum&bass-electronic music as well as live acts.

PORAT is 10 this season - Sergej and his team have been independently running the club for this length of time, evolving all the time. Porat started with only two speakers in a field, followed their passion and booked world class talent. Making Porat Club a hot spot within the international clubbing scene. Now in 2009, PORAT and TENAX have decided to merge into a partnership ‘a collaboration made in clubbing heaven’ both clubs are on the same page musically and share the same vision. Porat are based in Croatia and Tenax are in neighbouring Florence, Italy. Together they plan to expand and build on their fan base, aiming towards all international clubbers. They are looking at the bigger picture and a striving to meet other partners with clubs in and around Europe.


The club’s location is in a secluded haven purely for clubbing and letting go with no residential restrictions. As you hit the glowing olive trees - you know you are about to confront something magical. A bedazzling site offering the entire package - chilled out sofa areas, pine trees aplenty by the sea, checking out the latest exhibitions, meditating in the thick of the woods, slow drinks and catch up with your friends, subtle ambient lighting, private booths throughout, well stocked bar, going ballistic to the rocking tunes by moonlight in the open air. It’s a place to immerse and lose yourself – it’s being in tune with mother nature!


What do you think when you hear the word ‘Croatia?’ sailing, beaches, sport, festivals come to mind, right? Yes! but there is another side of Croatia, it’s beautiful untouched National Park. Club PORAT is in Porat and nearest to the actual beauty of National Parks ; KRKA and KORNATI… but the club area itself adjoins to the Nature Park ‘Vransko Jezero.’ Also near by are the other jewels; Vodice, Šibenik and Zadar. Perfection for Nature-Culture-Exploring!


Porat club and Porart’s demographic would be targeting any guests who are interested in the complete natural concept, not a festival, but a unforgettable clubbing experience in a breathtaking natural bounty. Porat’s ethos is maintaining these major components but appealing to everyone of all walks of life, avoiding any corporate involvement, remaining an underground secret but would like ‘word of mouth’ to spread around the world.
