A REAL FIRST FRIDAY AFTER PARTY! No cover, all 21+

A group of Aliens are hosting a party called "Spaced Invaders". Aliens enter free...All those not dressed as an Alien are subject to being probed....and it is being held just around the corner from The Funkhouse on the corner of 3’rd and Imperial at Snick’s Place bar and the Aloha Laundromat next door. This is within walking distance of The Funkhouse so leave your car parked, and come join us for more fun!

The party starts when First Friday ends at 10 pm, on Friday night September 3’rd and will go into the wee hours! We are looking for artists and performers to get involved with this (no DJ’s right now, we’ve got enough thanks). This is becoming a monthly event to follow up on the already awesome First Friday activities. We thought, “Why should we all go home at 10 pm?” So we’ve started this.

But you have to participate! If you just want to go to a bar and scream over a sound system, then by all means please do, this is much much more.

Costumes are encouraged, as is anything spacey and otherworldly that you own or have created, bring it on! Snick’s has great drink prices, and we will have some performers in the Laundry too. We are also creating a unique chill space out back to get away from the noise with space themed videos, more art that you won’t see at First Friday, and a great overall vibe throughout the entire block.

So please come down and check this out, because it’s an experiment, and we don’t know what’s going to happen.

Watch out for the Men In Black too, because they’re watching out for you.
