Bringing a HUGE hard dance/hard trance headliner from UK!!!

LEE HASLAM

Hard Trance supremo Lee Haslam has emerged from within the heart of Tidy Trax; one of the UK's most prolific dance labels and event promoters.

Though Tidy are more readily associated with hard house through their main Tidy Trax imprint, Label Manager Lee Haslam ensures there is another dimension to the Tidy phenomenon.

Surprisingly for some, given his position within one of biggest Hard House labels in the world, Haslam is actually a hard trance DJ and has learnt his mesmerising skills from some of the best DJ's and producers on the circuit. He was rewarded for his dedication to the scene at the Hard Dance Awards 2003 by winning Best Resident.

With the launch of Tidy’s third label TidyTwo’ in 2003, Tidy now have a dedicated forum for hard-edged anthemic trance and Haslam has the perfect outlet for his talents. One of the label's biggest releases to date was Lee's very own Music is the Drug, which was released in September 2002 and reached number 70 in the National charts. It has also been licensed to over 15 compilations and over 7 territories world-wide.

Since his career began about six years ago, Haslam has developed a distinct style that distinguishes him from his contemporaries. The energy and elevation he generates through his seamless mixing and vibrant personality, rocks dancefloors the world over and his reputation has grown at an impressive rate.

When you consider his regular tours to Scotland, Ireland, Russia, Finland, the U.S.A, Japan, Canada, New Zealand and South Africa as well as his frequent visits to the DJ booths of Slinky, Godskitchen, Frantic, Hard House Academy, Dance Academy, Promise, Golden, Frisky, Sundissential and Goodgreef, it is of little surprise to find out that Tidy Trax rate Haslam as one of the best hard trance DJs in the world. This statement has recently been backed up when Lee was named as only one of ten Hard dance DJ’s featured in the 2002 DJ Magazine poll where Lee went in at number 142 beating of stiff competition and a lot of big names within his scene to stake his claim.

Last year saw Lee turn up the heat on his production career with several remixes for Liquid Asset, Bulletproof, Y2K, Stimulant Records, Impact and of course Tidy. In addition to these Lee recently remixed two of Europe's biggest trancers. Both 'Gamemaster' by Lost Tribe and Dumonde's 'Human' were given the Haslam Hard Trance treatment.

He has also recently completed his follow to the massive 'Music is the Drug' with a double A sided release. 'Free' and 'Retrospective' have done extremely well since their release in September 2003 and once again confirms that Lee is now one of the biggest and most exciting DJ's and production talents within the UK hard dance scene.

The end of 2003 saw Lee tour Australia and New Zealand with Slinky as well as playing the main room at Magna back to back with Amber D.

2003 was definitely a good year but 2004 is fastly becoming his best yet. Lee has taken a small break from production work but working hard on the album's. He has not only mixed one of the four discs on Tidy's Keep it Tidy 4 but also the fourth instalment of the Resonate Series which has been named by many as the best tidy album to date.

On the DJ front he has been maintaining his high level of gigs as ever with regular appearances at places like Slinky, Godskitchen, Sundissential. Tall Trees, Dance Academy and Goodgreef. The summer of 2004 sees Lee playing at Creamfields, however the pinnacle point of his career is coming sooner as he has been selected to do an Essential Mix live on Radio One live from the Tidy Summer Camp on Saturday 17th July 2004 which can be heard online at www.bbc.co.uk/radioone.

Keep It Haslam!
