The music or the hotel?

The Hard Rock has a cool round bar in the middle of the casino. If you can't make it to a club, hang around here! It's a good bar to mingle.

The Hard Rock also has a club called Body English. I haven't been yet but I hear good things about it.

The casino here is packed and weekend and the table limits show it.

I think they made it a small place so that it would always look busy......which it actually IS alot of the time....but it's not like they have big casino/hotel square footage. I have been trying to get in touch with Bill Le so we can go to Body English and get on the list. Hopefully he will be able to do something this upcoming weekend. I hear the place it OFF THE HOOK!

Hard Rock is always busy Friday and Saturday nights. Young 21 to 30 crowd. Center bar is always hopping - lots of "beautiful" people. Body English is always busy Friday and Saturday nights - but harder to get into on Saturdays. Talented djs play primarily hip-hop, rock, mashups and some house.

i pretty much wanna know if i should stay there or consider a different hotel... i can get pretty much the same deal there as i can get at the Luxor... ive seen the luxor and been inside however i didnt stay there... what do u guys think?

My opinion no I wouldnt stay there again... its ok that's all I give it and its off the strip..

I will only stay there this summer on a sunday if they start up Rehab again..

I'm here right now. Was at the Luxor a couple days ago. Hard Rock is definately a "cooler" hotel/casino. Younger clientel than the Luxor. The nightclub at Luxor, RA, is definately more house-esque than Body English at Hard Rock I thought. Although, I had much better luck at the tables at Luxor and you can walk right over to Mandalay for more gaming and whatnot.

I thought it was just me. I have played ay MANY casinos in my time and I have never, never walked away from Hard Rock with $$$ in my pocket! I haven't figured it out yet. I think it is something they put in the drinks!

when i was looking in the fall.... i could have sworn the luxor had much better rates than the hard rock, unless your looking at suits

if your planning on going when its hot out there, then i would even pay the 'extra' to be at the pool at hard rock

Although its off the strip Hard Rock is one of the best hotels in vegas imo. The roudn bar and body english are almost always good and in the summer months Rehab rules on Sundays. If you like the younger, hip, party stlye hotels like hard rock i would also suggest looking into the palms and mandalay bay.

I never stayed at the Luxor so i cant comment on the rooms but i do get emails from them and they often have some very good deals that are hard to pass up. Plus they have the tram which goes right to the mandalay bay in like 5 seconds which is very convenient.

I wouldnt really stay at Hard rock.

Its conflicting though. The scene in the pit is one of the best - the pit crowd looks like an upscale club crowd, it would be our The Standard Crowd, very young, hot, very hip crowd. The pit is not your 75 year old tourist in the hawaiian shirt. And yes, what everyone else sad about Rehab and B/English. And overall, its a very pleasant, not overly tacky, place.

Its in the middle of nowwhere. I went from Paris (strip) to HardRock and Hard Rock to MGM ... and it was I think it was around $5 each trip. You cant walk to the strip from HRock ... its just too far. Yeah you can but you wont want to. Its too damn far. And its not next to anything. And remember, its not a mega hotel so you dont have as much to do it in like a Paris or Bellagio.

On the other hand, the luxor is pretty far over there too.

It all depends on what spots you think you are going to be at. If you gonna be at Dres 24/7, lol, Luxor is gonna cost $$ on cab just like HRock.
