Eiffel Tower Experience?

Anyone done this? Need like an hour to kill next Wednesday for a special occassion and thought this would be good. How long does it take to get to the top and what all is it....just the ride up and onto the observation deck? Any opinions?

I have done it but I was about four years ago. Great view and it is pretty neat to see the Bellagio fountains from up there.

It can take awhile to get up to the top...they take groups up and down so it just depends.

I believe that you can purchase tickets in advance but still have to wait in line once you get there.

Did it twice, watched the water show from up there, fucked with the elevator opperator good time

didnt take long at all, both times there wasnt a line

Ok, I have a fear of heights and I went up. Sure I already had a few drinks!
Not for the people that are afaid of heights!
The floor up there is see-throught, cris-cross thin steel beams!
You can spit and watch it fall (fly) all the way to the ground!

Besides that, nice view!
