Best Thursday night party?

The title says it all, i am looking for the best thursday night party? i dont have a music preference, i just want the most fun.

And since i am asking what about fridays?

Fridays, well, pretty much anywhere you go will be hopping. If you want the multi-room, mega-club thing then hit up Jet, Tao or Pure... just get there early or work with a host to skip the lines. Otherwise I'm sure you'll enjoy any club in a major casino.

As always I recommend hitting up Mix for pre-10pm drinks; no cover and an awesome view of the Strip.

On Thursdays, I'd say your three leading candidates are...

Tao for the bombastic Vegas mega-club experience. Thursdays can get quite packed, so get there early. Big locals night, but I'd say that still only accounts for half the crowd on an average Thursday. Mainstream hip-hop in the main room, hip-hop/mash in the temple, and house in the lounge.

Tryst for smaller, slightly more relaxed vibe. In my opinion Tryst kind of straddles the line between nightclub and lounge, at least by current Vegas standards; the dance floor is always bumping, but once you're off the floor it's definitely more of a hang-loose vibe. One of the best-looking clubs on the planet, from the decor to the staff to the guests. Hip-hop/mash.

VooDoo for the best house/electronic on Thursdays. Technically the word "lounge" is in the name, but no better spot to get your Thursday house groove on thanks to the recent residency of Joey Mazzola (IMHO one of the two best local electronic DJs). Hip-hop/mash on the deck, which has a killer view (better than Ghostbar but not as good as Mix or Foundation).


Overall the question is how you want to do your two nights. If you want to go balls-out both nights, then I'd recommend Tao one night then Jet the next. If you want a great spot for Thursday but save balls-out for Friday, then I'd say do Tryst then Tao.

Tao is good on thurs for 3 different music areas, but i still like to hit mgm and go to tabu, and just for a laugh dollhouse at studio 54. Nothing sexier than women in lingerie and your trying to dance

If want to get another type of experience.. Come on Drais between 1am and 5am for DJ Kris Nillson.. house and electro house..

Just one hour before that.. SEAMLESS Strip Club for DJ IKON (hip hop) from 4am til 6am.. and then myself Electro House and Progressive from 6am til 8am.

Now that the girls are able to mingle and dance for you right on the floor instead of having take you to the VIP room for more money than you planned on spending... This mix is nice.. You get to see beautiful women.. doing things and showing things, that would normally you kicked out of any regular club.. with great music LIVE DJ .. Plenty of seating (in dark places as well).

While we're tooting, OPM has been hitting capacity almost every Thursday this summer, if real Hip-Hop is your thing. The crowd is hot, and much more mainstream than the weekends. The dress code is upscale with no exceptions.

I liked hitting opm 2 thursdays ago. I really also enjoyed tabu. Im becoming a club whore lately

There are three clubs popping on Thursday OPM, Tao, Tryst... Friday it's pretty open to all clubs. It's all the same vibe. There are a few clubs that are so packed you cant even walk around or dance. So if you want to stay away from those clubs it would be Tao and Pure

My personal preference for a Thursday night is Tao for a couple reasons. One, Tao has multiple rooms, playing different music, that I can wander in and out of. I'm not much of a dancer so I like to walk about and socialize. Two, there are also areas of the club that you can go to "escape" from the crowd for a moment. My favorite part of the club is the lounge area downstairs because it has a very laid back vibe.

I am all about having fun at TAO for a little while and seeing good friends there..Mike runs the best door in town..Larson is ..well.Larson! (it seems like forever since his days at Teatro)....Jason and Noah created a gorgeous club!

..however...I always end a Thursday night partying at my fav place these days: Tryst: maybe it is because of the people (as I know many of them from their days at Tabu)...maybe it is because of the scene (mega-Drais on steriods)...maybe it is the environment (you cant beat the gorgeous waterfall and pool)..maybe its all of the above...

A few weeks ago I did the Thursday night Tao/Tryst double, just like vegased I hit up Tao until a bit after two and then popped over to Tryst. Really great crowd and vibe at both.

I'll also echo mrvip about the lounge at Tao. Always a great atmosphere down there, and it's the only place in the club to actually socialize. I wasn't crazy about the lounge during the first few months Tao opened -- I seem to recall there being more tables, in the middle of the floor, so hard to move around and mingle -- but for the last 4-5 months it's been excellent.

Props also to Tao magagement for allowing free access to the lounge on nights when the rest of the club has hit capacity.

All of the places mentioned above are very hard to choose from. They are all real hot Thursday club night (tuff decision there).

If you're looking for R&B and more of a local flavor, check out Barcode on Spring Mtn., Between Jones & Decatur (5 Min Directly West of The Wynn). They are having a Grand Opening Tonight! The promotion is called “Taste”

I looked on AEveas.com and they have a guest list for every Thursday. $5 You call it drinks, plenty of seating, big dance floor etc... They should pay me for this..lol.

Anywayz that's my 2 cents about Thursday but I went to last weeks soft opening of Taste which they did not advertise at all and it was a nice upscale grown (not old ((25+)) ) crowd.

I don't have the flyer for the event but it is listed on AEvegas.com's "AE Hot Pics" but I do know that doors open @ 10pm and they have good food all night, cheap drinks, very good sound and lighting and plenty of table seating that does not cost you anything (VIP Seating Avail On The Second Floor).

I personally think OPM's a better choice. No shootings Upscale dress code. Always peaceful and friendly. Two rooms on Thursday now. R&B and Hip-Hop in the main room. 100% house in the new Naughty room. Located in the world famous Caesars Forum Shops.
