Well folks. I didn't make it out much this week for VMC really saving my energy for Rehab Closing!! However Saturday Night, Sunday Night...Wow..

First off I have to give a Job well done to all of the staff at Empire and Ice. I know it was a long week. I commend all of you for your hard work and efforts in doing your jobs.

ICE - Saturday Night.

Mind you I was at Ice with all the original host that have grown from their success there. I was there 10 Bottles deep at Tiesto NYE 3 years ago. Insane!! And minus the Cryogenifex system to cool the room the club mirrored that experience.

I showed up around 1:30 to find people in line...To fill the club. I thought to myself did someone not notify me of a party...As many would know Ice has not had much success this year with the competition of the Casino clubs and Afterhours...and being of the strip its been tough.

So at 1:30 I walk in to see a busy hip hop room. And a jam packed Main Room. And when I say Jam Packed. There is not a table available in the main room, fur room, upstairs vip, dance floor, terrace, side terrace!! And I know the GM personally. All that was available was the hip hop room!! As I am walking in there are people jumping trying to touch the ceiling as Crystal Method was throwing down some sick tunes. Fog machines going off!! Insane....

Then later on in the morning you had Lavelle get up there...Now I know this guy has been around a while. But he is really underrated. Everytime I have heard him spin this past year (Rehab, Ice, Seamless, and various other places) He has just moved the crowd like he was a top ten dj. I have to give the guy props. A skinnier, cut Donald Glaude...hahaha...No but he was spinning all the top electro tracks and really just moved the crowd.

Empire - I honestly believe this was the Venue of the Year so Far. Not only did they have the best lineup all year. Erick Morillo and Oscar G in one night. They catered towards the locals. Which meant comps all around, the lighting of the projectors, plasmas, sound syncronized imaging. It was a insane night. They had the local support of Tao, Body E, Jet, and Tabu. It was insane!! I mean I could go on and on about everything. But it overall music was great, Erick has mastered the moving the crowd. And Oscar G. killed it!!

I had a blast last night at the Empire Ballroom....Morillo & Oscar G had the place going crazy.

Thank you for the honest (and positive review) of the events at the first annual Vegas Music Conference. It took my team endless hours of planning and spending a lot of money to insure that the clubs would be packed and there would be top tier talent during the week.

We are already planning 2007 and will be making the VMC bigger and better as well as more streamlined with the conference side of things. I would appreciate any and all feedback to help this conference grow and offer the best the world has to offer.
