Pearl
Restaurant & Nightclub
665 North Robertson Boulevard
West Hollywood, CA
On Tuesday, LALate will introduce LA residents what it sees as the top contender for the #1 venue title in Los Angeles: the brand new ultra hot Pearl Restaurant and Nightclub. Earlier this month, Pearl management gave LALate a private tour of the new venue that had just hosted pop sensation Usher's birthday party.
Pearl is an exquisite, expansive venue that fills the void currently in LA for a completely upscale large capacity venue on the westside. At a time when #1 venue, White Lotus, has fallen off dramatically along with other previous hotspots 9000 Lounge and Shelter, Pearl is opening its doors with an unbelievable offering.
The 7,500 sq. foot venue located at 665 North Robertson Boulevard just south of Santa Monica Boulevard took recently housed popular restaurant nightclub Moomba and brought in upgrades that make Pearl a delightful experience. As a result, to no surprise, it has already hosted some of the hottest private parties in LA like ABC's Season Premiere Party for "The Bachelor'", the Wrap Party for "Scary Movie 3" , Usher's 25th Birthday Party, the "Gothika" Movie Premiere Party, and R. Kelly's Platinum Party. This Tuesday, Pearl is unveiled to LA clubgoers.
The nightclub section of Pearl offers a $250,000 system replete with six plasma screens, 100 speakers and two DJ stations, a 24-track recording board, a $45,000 Sony digital projector, and a 250 inch big screen that descends from the ceiling on the main stage.
In the main room, Pearl took out the booths to expand the dancefloor while adding intimacy through the addition of a pocket area off the stage. Shadow boxes offers an added treat as does a half-dozen screens that cross-pollinate the action in Pearl around the venue
In the VIP area downstairs, gone are the low back risers in a myriad of confusing colors from the Moomba era, and in are a sexy striptease poll surrounded with stunning high back suede sofas in a soothing palliate.
With nearly 7,500 square feet to operate, Pearl still maintains intimacy for dining and nightlife with an exceptional floorplan. Pearl chefs offer a modern American cuisine with an Asian flair, specializing in seafood with Asian twists.
