all right, peeps, this is your first chance in 2004 to make a difference!!! first off, make sure you know where your polling place is (since i already did a thread about how to register and i'm sure everyone did on time ). here's a site that'll point you in the right direction for l.a. county:

all polls are open from 7am to 8pm, statewide.

now there are 4 statewide propositions on the ballot, all of which are budget related and really serious. if you lost the pamphlets that were sent in the mail, have no fear ! you can read the arguments for and against all of the props on the 'net right here:

there are also little local elections (people and issues) going on everywhere, and you should have gotten a booklet in the mail about what's going on in that arena.
