Need club info please!

I'm coming to LA w/ some girlfriends the first weekend of April for a "break". We all have kids & most of us are married so we're really wanting to have a good time. However, none of us have ever been to LA for just pleasure, so we do not know which places to go to. And which ones we would be able to get into.

I prefer a more intimate environment, where there is a little bit older crowd (meaning mid to late 20s). I don't want to be around a bunch of poops, however! Basically, I don't want to go to a teen hangout...

My friends may want to go to the really "busy" places, also. I like those sometimes, too. Has anybody ever gone to Makeup? I heard it's pretty fun, but don't know much about it. I just don't want to feel out of place where ever we go. It's bad enough that none of us have a clue what to wear out there. Our clubs here are probably a lot lamer & we certainly don't have a lot of time to go to them!

Things change so much out here...I suggest you ask this again a little closer to your planned trip. Then I'm sure everyone here can help guide you to some fun spots during your stay. Welcome to LA...well, in a few months.
