a RAVE at the Disney Concert Hall?!?!?!

Hey!

Word on the street is that the LA Phil and Disney Concert Hall are having some cool stuff going on. It's called the Minimalist Jukebox. Anyone heard of this? Anyone going? I think DNTEL is one of the acts. Here is some more info I got in an email:

“Minimalist Jukebox” A Two-Week Festival Presented by the Los Angeles Philharmonic:
Sat. March 18th 11:59-6am: The Orb kicks of the festival with an all night concert with visual arts and ground-breaking music.
Mon, March 20th 8pm: Featuring Jennings String Quartet and Riley In C.
Wed, March 29th 8pm: Special Event with Hallucination City
Thurs, March 30th 8pm: Piano Spheres
*all concerts at the Walt Disney Concert Hall and Tickets are only $10 on select dates

Check out the music of the people performing ( a simple itunes search will give you more than enough 30sec samples). Minimalism and Dance music are not one in the same.
I imagine it'll be cool all the same.

a performance being late does not make it a "rave." that said, it may still be a good time.

yup read about this.. thinking of going to see the Orb totally in for good acoustics.. too bad i don't do shrooms
