if one is ever totally stumped on what to get someone for a birthday present, sometimes all s/he needs to do is take a walk - in a neighborhood with lots of stores, a mall, a department store, even a frikkin' target. even if one doesn't find exactly the right thing in the course of that trip, s/he may get inspired enough to know where to go or what to do next .
