have u seen what Choi has been doing in spring training? pretty damn good, at first i didnt know about this trade...but after reading about the "raves" that the hitting coach has made about this kid and the type of spring training he has had, i dont feel THAT bad about the trade...in Lee we lost a great defensive 1st baseman and decent hitter...IMO he just hasnt progressed as far along "hitting-wise" as he could have been...still one of the better 1st basemen out there...

I've been following the team since day one, April 5th 1993. I was 12 years old, but I remember their first game; Charlie Hough was the starting pitcher, and threw a first pitch strike to the Dodgers Jose Offerman; Marlins won 6-3.

I agree with the fact there lots of "bandwagon" jumpers. But I'm certainly not one of them. Besides, there are bandwagon fans all over the place. Just so happens maybe we have most of them So then people starting bitching Miami has bad fans. But think about it, lots of people who live in Miami come from other parts of the country. So the blame can go all around.


Anyway....GO MARLINS!!!!

a world series win must be extra sweet if you followed the marlins from the begining...
