Thumbs up Love and Death (The Murder of Kurt Cobain)

I just finished reading all 294 ages of this book! It's very intense and revealing, it focuses on the inconsistencies and wrongful management of evidence during the days revolving the finding of Kurt Cobain's body and a strong theory about Courtney Love supposedly having him whacked to get his inheritance right when Kurt was proven to be in the process of divorcing her...a pre-nup agreement would've left Courtney without any right to Nirvana's leader fortune...very interesting...I could not put it down...mesmerizing

is this book 1 or 2 from these guys? they came out with a new book a while ago saying they found "new" evidence. hmmmm wonder if there will be part 3 and 4 eventually???? i think courtney is a cunt and she murdered his soul, he was hooked on fucking heroin and was so fukt up already, her emotional abuse very well may have pushed him over the edge. the one argument i hear over and over again is that with the amount of h in his system he couldn't have shot himself. i don't agree. he was a junkie, and had a huge tolerance for the stuff. he busted outta rehab and went on a bender and then killed himself. he was sick, god rest his soul.

poor frances, i hope she turns out alright but the odds couldn't be more against her!!!!

Hells yeay!!! Seriously, there is so much evidence against her, it's amazing how she still goes unpunished...her life is plagued with misterious deaths of people whom failed her or wanted to abadon her...the bass player that recorded Hole's debut "Life Through This" (which btw was released 4 days after Kurt's death) was found dead on a bathtub when she was picking up her stuff to move back home as she was leaving Seattle, Courtney and Hole (she had been in detox for 5 months and then she wound up dead of heroin od)...then there's this guyshe supposedly hired to kill Kurt, winds up dead ran over by a train...and so on and so forth...Courtney is super-duper-violent and would do anything to gain her goal...I believe she has the murder instinct n her fo'sho'...think about it...at the early age of 15 she was sent to a correctional school for stabbing a 14 year old girl with a scissor...no white sheep here...insteresting fact:Courtney is the grandaughter of the founder of Bausch & Lomb and one of the members of the Grateful Dead is her godfather...these two last facts are enough to close my case, Courtney killed Kurt Cobain.

wow very interesting, yeah i agree with funk i think she's messed up in the head big time, everytime she's been on a interview she's always majorly drugged up and acting all weird and bugged out.

He Blondie, this the second book from these guys...with addtional evidence and new revealing facts...aside from being about Kurt, it's an amazing piece of literature...the way t's written kicks Agatha Christie's ass from here to China (I'm not exagerating) it's very dynamic in rythm and flow, I read it almost straight though...a good travelin' companion.

As this bok reveals, Courtney has mad contacts and paid-off loyal servants in the Seatte Police Department as well as in the medical field...one thing that struck me is that the same forensic doctor that did Kurt's authopsy happens to be the same exact doctor that did that of Hole's dead bass player (this shit is horrifying) another, the roll of photographs of Kurt's death scene is still undeveloped, Kurt's body was cremated without him asking for it (before any of his relatves could see it) anyone and everyone who has attempted to bring light to this case has received repeated death threats from Courtney.

I had to produce a 5 minute biographical piece on the 10th anniversary of Kurt's death and went through tons of taped interviews and one thing I noticed was how his outlook had turned from negative to possitive towards the end...his last interview with MTV presented him sober and smiling, praising sobriety and possitivity...not the portrait of someone who was ready to take his own life...his stomach pains had ceased and he was very happy being Frances daddy...the most fucked up thing I learned with this book is that copy-cut suicides are still taking places from kids that want to emulate Kurt's supossed ending...this is cited as the main moti vation for these guys to pursue their investigation of the case...the book was writtenin an attempt to re-open the case and aparenty there's fierce evidence that would convict Courtney as the mastermind of the supposed assasination complot agtainst Kurt...fact is, she had all the reasons in the world to do him in, and as the book again reveals, the coldness and lack of human feelings to do it...who knows? Maybe one day the truth will emerge...as of right now, Courtney has pleaded guilty on counts of possesion of a controled substance and has agreed to undergo detox in a rehab facility in California...Frances Bean is now twelve and by the age of 18 she will receive half of Kurt's inheritance that's being kept for her by the state of Seattle...is Frances also in imminent danger? Kurt's daughter looks eerily exactly like him when he was her age and is an accomplished horse rider, according to the book...she's so good that could even qualify soon to participate in the olympics...read it...I think this book is your cup'o tea.

I'll read it as soon as I'm done with my current read.

I don't really know enough to have an opinion on this yet. But, how can I disagree w/ another person who loves Tuna such as me?

    When you're right...you're right!

ps. as I posted earlier, this reading trascends having loved Kurt and his work with Nirvana, it's a class "A" thriller and it's written in "real time"...it actually puts you there in the middle of taped conversations, it gives you access to legal accounts...I can't say enough about it...read it while enjoying an exquisite Bumble Bee sandwich
