Thumbs up Cafeteria was off-da-kook last nite!!! (Diaga is a beast)

After a dinner at Sushi Siam on Lincoln Rd and with the incredibly amazing cool weather, me and my friends Vero, Meli and Sammy were all in the mood for some music and drinkies, so we walked down to Cafeteria at around 11, as we walked in Diaga was on decks, doing his thing...you know. We said hi to Diaga, Chib and Renzo and headed to the bar for some JWB and just chilled there for a while. At first, the room was half empty (or half full, however your mind works) when all of a sudden and almost unnoticed to us, people began flooding in...it was someone's birthday...was it Melissa's??? (can't remember) so, there was a happy birthday track played on her honor...it was fun to see Diaga mess with the echo on that one (hey, I'm easily ammused)...bro, from then on it was just pure and unabashed sickness on the decks...droppin' some Underworld and technoish, breaky shit that I hadn't heard before in my life...all in all, a perfect set IMHO...mind ya, I'm not a track tracker and probably not a good source of reference for track recognition either, but my feet are the only buffer a party needs (if you know, you know) we went from conversation to dancing without even noticing, I wish I knew the name of that guy that was sharing decks with Diaga, he also did an amazing job...throwing some old school Depeche Mode's "I Just Can't Get Enough" and tracks along that line...a fun detour from the scheduled program, yeah...a bunch of new wave remixed tracks, as far as could recognize...I was hoping to hear Chib on decks and I don't know if he went on later, but my friends wanted to go check Shine, so we went...funny thing is, we never really made it to Shine because we stopped at the karaoke place downstairs of the Shelbourne and belched out a bunch of tunes...ahhhh the stuppor of the night before thanksgiving, gotta love that one...now, best way to kill this hangover is to get on my car and drive to Pembroke Pines and basically vandalize my brother in law's refrigerator...hey, fair is fair...he's doing my sister, I might as well drink his beer, right???

Nice to the see the good'ol peepz...Domingo in the house, RCrespo, Renzo, Chibale, Diaga and a cast of thousands...cool hanging out with everyone!

Turkey, here I go...happy thanksgiving everyone!!!

ps. sorry for the title...I didn't mean to offend any "kooks" out there...I meant "off-da-hook"
