Black Monday “How Gee 2005” White GER 12 – HOWGEE01, chunky minimal tech house reworking by MANDY of this early-90s saxophone-drenched house classic.

Chaka Khan “I Feel For You 2005” White ENG 12 – UK edition of the GER bootleg, with remixer now identified as Hannu, from a few weeks back, now out of print. Now includes both full vocal and dub versions. Catalog number is WHO5.

Def Leppard “Photograph 2005” White ITA 12 – Santek remix with the original vocal worked into a Prydz-esque tech house orchestration. One sided test copy.

Eurythmics “Sweet Dreams 2005” White GER 12 – chunky, slightly techy house reworking of the 80s classic with hooks of the original vocal and chorus worked into the production. HISJAM1.

Filur vs Sono “I Want Control” White GER 12 – mashup that blends the drivinig progressive instrumental of the Sono track “Keep Control” with the vocal from Filur’s massive “I Want You”. Dark, driving production.

Franz Ferdinand “Take Me Home 2005” White ENG 12 – SANFRAN01 – Hoxton Whores rework this indie rock anthem for the bigroom floors.

R Kelly “Love’s Treat 2005” White ENG 12 – Miguel Migs reworking of this R&B track, circulates as CSAR003.

Moloko vs Gene Kelly “Singing In The Time” White ENG 12 – 35ST, vocal hooks from the Gene Kelley classic “Singing In The Rain” worked into the instrumentation from the Moloko “The Time Is Now” in a funky discohouse style. Flipsside is a blend of Golden Girls “Kinetic” with vocal elements from Coco “I Need A Miracle”.

Pet Shop Boys “West End Girls 2005” White USA 12 – massive tech-tinged house reworking by Tony Arzadon of this classic track with the original synth and full original vocal worked into the production. Flipside is a similar-styled reworking of the instrumental from Gary Numan “Cars”. MVMT001.

T-Rex “Get It On 2005” White ENG 12 – SFB reworking of this 80s classic with hooks of the original “Get It On, Bang A Gong” hooks into a dark, funky mid-120s BPM tech house orchestration. GETITON1.

Thompson Twins “Come Inside 2005” White ENG 12 – PLAY029, chunky, dark bigroom house rework of this old Thompson Twins track, with hooks of the original chorus worked into the production.

Underworld vs Age Of Love “The Age of Slippy Love” White ENG 12 – HM002, Stormy Dance mix taking the vocal from Age of Love and working it into the spacious instrumental of “Born Slippy”. Flipside is a mashup of Green Velvet vs Thomas Bangalter “Flash On Da Rocks” on the flip with the Green Velvet vocal catchphrase worked into the techy, aggressive Bangalter instrumentation.

Unknown “Discoball 4” White GER 12 - Antoine Clamaran remix in the lastes from this series that samples old disco-era classics and updates them for the contemporary club scene. Catalog Number DISCOBALL4.

Unknown “Disco Diamonds 4” White GER 12 – four more disco-era classics reworked for the contemporary dance floor. Catalog Number DD004.

House

George Acosta “Set You Free” Mint Muzik USA 12 – Planet Soul’s mid-90s classic is covered in this energetic bigroom house production with seductive female vocals over driving dark synths and pulsing rhythms. Also includes a breakbeat remix.

Mariah Carey “It’s Like That” Def Jam ENG 12 and C5 – David Morales pairs up with La Mariah once again in this new release with Mariah’s vocals in excellent form and Morales’ house orchestration providing a classic bigroom house track. Excellent return for the 90s diva. The 12” features the Morales club mix, the CD maxi also adds a second Morales mix and a remix by Stereo Experience in a more circuit oriented style.

DJ Angel f/Rachel Harris “Tell Me On Sunday” Sure Player GER 12 – Solid classic house production with an inspirational female vocal over excellent disco-tinged orchestrations. Includes a solid remix by DJ Prom on the flip.

DJ Rooster & Sammy Peralta “The Meeting” Juicy ENG 12 – Sultry suggestive female vocal given an energetic electro tech house orchestration in this latest release from Juciy, with remixes by Robbie Rivera, DJ Pedro and a darker progressive tinged reworking from Piliavin & Zimbardo.

DJ Sammy “Why” Super GER 12 Part 1 and Part 2 – Annie Lennox’ early 90s pop hit is covered in this solid new release from DJ Sammy, whose production moves in a less trance, more tech house orchestration. Disc 1 feature Sammy’s mix and a reworking by Parker & Hanson while disc 2 features more trance oriented mixes from Andrew McKenzie and Frank Schuster.

Eric Entrena “Let There Be Light” Fresco GER 12 – Dark, driving tribal production with a famous spoken vocal sample over energetic rhythm lines and deep, powerful synth lines. Two mixes.

Todd Gardner f/Shawnee Taylor “The Only One” Tweek’d USA 12 – latest release for the bigrooms from Tweek’d with Ms Taylor giving a stellar performance as Angel Moraes provides the dark tribal-tinged orchestration and Saeed giving the track a more progressive feel.

Jupiter Ace “1000 Years” Oxyd ITA 12 – Energetic Italian house production with a hooky female vocal over an energetic house orchestration. Includes both full vocal and instrumental versions

Kaesar “Nightlife” Voices FRA 12 – Chunky vocal French tech house release with four separate cuts providing an array of vocals over driving rhythm lines and aggressive synth orchestrations.

Kylie Minogue “Giving You Up” EMI ENG 12 Picture and C5 – Latest single from the Australian pop diva in its original form is a seductive tech tinged mid-tempo production. Remix from Alter Ego adds more energy to the production while keeping the full vocal intent. Riton provides a more minimal, dubby tech house mix.

Peak Time Players “Automatic” White ENG 12 – Pointer Sisters hit from the mid-1980s recreated in an energetic house cover version perfect. One sided test copy.

Royal Gigolos “Electrica Salsa” White GER 12 –Off’s early-80s hit reworked by the creators of last year’s “California Dreaming” in a similar Benassi-influence tech house style.

Silicone Soul “Feelin Blue” Soma ENG 12 Part 1 and Part 2 – In its original form a beautiful classic house production with stunning female vocals and a slight techiness, remixes on both parts progressively deconstruct the production into chunkier, funkier and dubbier interpretations, with remixes from Soul Mekanik and Spiral.

Sound Of Reyes f/Linda Newman “Everlasting” Definite Groove ENG 12 – Gorgeous vocal garage house cut with an inspiring female vocal over warm synth orchestrations and shuffly beats. Two mixes.

ATB “The Remixes” White ENG 12 – A repressing of three of ATB’s best remixes. Includes a solid remix of Darude’s trance classic “Sandstorm,” the long out-of print remix of Sarah Brightman’s “A Whiter Shade Of Pale” and ATB’s cover version of Seal’s “Killer.”

BK “Playing With Knives” Riot ENG 12 – Bizarre Inc’s 1991 rave classic gets covered in this driving new hard dance release from veteran producer BK. Energetic rhythm lines and a tech-tinged hard dance synth orchestration paired with the famous Bizarre Inc piano lines and vocals. Incldues both full bocal and dub versions.

Fragile f/Alex Lemon “inertia” Armind BNX 12 – Armin van Buuren on the mix for this ethereal vocal trancer with a haunting vocal over seductive melodic orchestrations and solid rhythm lines. On the flip a more progressive-tinged reworking from Stel & Good Newz.

Nelka “Beautiful Dawn” Access GER 12 – Massive instrumental trancer with waves of melodic synth intricately orchestrated with dramatic breakdowns and energetic builds. On the flip DuMonde give the track their trademark production touch.

Luis Paris “Amor” Orient ENG 12 – Haunting vocal progressive house production with a seductive female vocal over shimmery, spacious synth swells and shuffly, pulsing rhythm lines. Includes a darker, techier dub version on the flip.

K&S Project “The Music” 69 USA 12 – 2 Peter Rauhofer mixes on this latest release from 69 with the track having a slight progressive edge and a seductive female vocal worked into the production.

Kaskade “Everything” Om USA 12 – Already rising rapidly up the Billboard Club Chart, this slice of smooth vocal garage is a stunning example of Kaskade’s immense production talent. Warm orchestration support the smooth female vocal perfectly.

Shapeshifter “Back To Basics” Positiva ENG 12 Part 2 – Limited UK pressing of the Steve Lawler mixes, including both the full vocal version that was on the Italian pressing as well as a driving dub version heretofore unavailable.

Solitaire “I’m Thinking Of You” Media USA 12 – cover of Sister Sledge given the seductive disco-tinged house reworking in this solid followup to “I Like Love.” On the flip Cheyne Christian provides a chunkier, techier reinterpretation.
