LocalHero is on a distinguished road
A new breaks mix from Local Hero! + some older ones

Local Hero is an eclectic breakbeat DJ hailing from Chicago. Although his sound can vary from house to new skool breaks to techno to Drum and Bass, his heart lies in breaks. Local Hero’s performances are composed of an artistic layering of funk, be it old school or new school, tech or disco, to create a poetry of sound and texture interspersed with quick cuts and deviceful mixing. Local Hero’s improvisational mixing is tempered by a scientific approach to structuring the sound and stoked by his intuitive connection with the audience. He has played in many of the major clubs around Chicago including Smart Bar, Sound Bar, Zentra, and Sonotheque and has played with well known DJs and Producers such as The Crystal Method, DJ Mea, Huda Hudia, and K-Swing. You can learn more about him on his website http://www.yourlocalhero.net or on myspace @ http://www.myspace.com/localhero feel free to contact him at either of those sites as well.

The newest mix from Local Hero is a double Disc called "The Sound and The Fury" clocking in at 2hr 15min. The first disc, The Sound, is deeper with a little house and breakbeats. The second disc, The Fury, is hard as nails breaks with a funk and tech flavoring to it.
