Depeche Mode vs Derrick May “Icon Feels Love” White GER 12 – TES03, deep minimal instrumental of Derrick May’s “Icon” with the vocal of Depeche Mode worked into the production. Dire Straits “Money For Nothing 2005” White GER 12 – circulates as BRED2, the guitar line of this 80s classic is the basis for this hard hitting bigroom hard dance production. No vocals, only the instrumental line is used. Fatboy Slim “Rockafella Skank 2005” White ENG 12 – 38ST, hooks of the vocal line from Fatboy’s classic are worked into a massive discohouse construction. Flipside features a gorgeous summery discohouse reworking of Room 5’s 2003 classic “Make Luv.” Samantha Fox “Nothing’s Gonna Stop Me Now 2005” White GER 12 - circulating as WL031, bouncy summertime pop hit for Samantha back in 1991 getting the Eric Prydz-style makeover here with hooks of the original chorus and instrumentation worked into the production. Fun reworking perfect for the warm summer evenings, very singalong. Aretha Franklin “Pride (A Deeper Love) 2005” White ENG 12 – 12HNR002, Jack N Daniels mix with full original vocal in a classic handbag disco house style perfect for pride season. Inner City “Good Life 2005” White ENG 12 - bootleg reworking by Eric Prydz of the Inner City classic. Full original vocal and the original instrumentation worked into Prydz' trademark energetic tech-tinged house production style. Extremely well produced productio. Catalog number is GOODLIFE. LaTour “People Are Still Having Sex 2005” White ENG 12 – MASTERSTROKE009, funky energetic tech house rework by Sheriff Phatman with hooks of the famous spoken vocal worked in. Flipside is a funky instrumental cut. Manijama vs Banda Sonora “No Guitarra” White ENG 12 – AA600, two Defected classics getting mashed up here as the vocal from Manijama “No No No” is woven into the guitar-infused Latin house instrumental of Banda Sonora “Guitarra G”. Moti Special “Cold Days Hot Nights 2005” White GER 12 – Junior Jack-styled house reworking of this 80s Europop classic with hooks of the original chorus and instrumentation worked into the production. New Order “Blue Monday” Club Standards ENG 2x12 – repressing of all the classic remixes from the past into one collectors set. Eight different mixes full extended mixes included, including the original extended mix. CS005 The Romantics “Talking In Your Sleep 2005” White GER 12 - New bootleg circulating as ROMANTICS01, with hooks of the original chorus and instrumentation worked over in a chunky upper-120s house style, yet another gem from the 80s given an update for the new millenium. Jill Scott “Whatever” White ENG 12 bootleg – JILL001, smooth house reworkings of the soulful vocalist by Scott Wozniak and DFA that integrate the full jazzy vocal into the productions. Shannon “Let The Music Play 2005” White GER 12 – WASABI002, Semi-legit reworkings of this classic with hooks of the original vocal worked into funky electrohouse orchestrations by Phattucini Brothers and Weekend Rulerz. Nina Sky “Freak” White USA 12 Bootleg – circulates as 5A, chunky house reworking with the full original vocal worked into the production. Release also includes a reworking of the Beatles “Come Together” and Brand Nubian “Rockin It” in similar chunky house styles. Underworld “Darka Longa 2005” White ENG 12 – DARKLONG001, mixes by Mogul in an expansive progressive style with a hint of a breakbeat. Bill Withers “Lovely Day 2005” White USA 12 – smooth garage house reworking with the full vocal worked into the production. Flipside is a stunningly seductive garage house mix of Tanita Tikaram “Twist In My Sobriety” with full original vocals. Circulates as WJ002. House Lee Coombs f/Katherine Ellis “Shiver” Azuli ENG 12 Part 1 and Part 2 – One of the highlights of the recent Azuli compilations, this massive vocal tech house monster gets a separate release with a wide range of mixes, with disc 1 featuring two mixes from Tom Novy, one for the bigrooms and the other for the more adventurous tech-electro floors, while disc two features the dark, driving original and a massive tech-tribal reworking from Miami’s Murk. Jen Cuneta “Come Rain Come Shine” Ultra USA 12 – new vocal house anthem from Ultra with a solid female vocal and a range of mixes to suit a variety of floors, from Mike Cruz and Friscia & The Lamboy’s bigroom circuit house spectaculars to Stonebridge’s more classic-house oriented construction. Disco Kings “Born To Be Alive” Clubland GER 12 – Cover of the Patrick Hernandez classic with the vocal worked into a Royal Gigolos meets Vinylshakers meets Benny Benassi production style with tons of energy and power. Also includes a more trance-tinged rework on the flip. DJ Rooster & Sammy Peralta “Push It” Juicy ENG 12 – More bigroom tech-tribal power from this production team, with aggressive rhythms, driving synth swells and a hooky spoken male vocal sample worked into the production. Includes a powerful remix by Robbie Rivera on the flip in his tough, driving production style. 80s Star “Do Ya Wanna Funk” SMR GER 12 – Cover of the Sylvester classic in an energetic yet still funky orchestration perfect for the floors that like their music recognizable but also in the latest house styles of productions. Solid cover version. Fischerspooner “Never Win” EMI USA 12 – Latest single from the poster children of the neo-New Wave/Electroclash movement, this single is more in a chunky disco-tech style with a very catchy vocal. Remixes range from the deep funk of Mirwais to a massive bigroom production by Benny Benassi that gives the track an almost anthemic feel. Flash “Pumping” Zipp FRA 12 – samples Donna Summer “Walk Away” are reworked in this new French house production with a tough, slightly techy orchestration into which vocal samples of La Summer are integrated. Full Intention “The Anniversary EP” White ENG 12 – Latest in the series of instrumental bootlegs produced by the veteran house producers, this edition features a solid instrumental reinterpretation of the disco-era classic “Funky Town” and a seductive track on the flip. Haji & Emanuel “Take Me Away” White ENG 12 Promo – Stunning vocal house production that is a cover of a long-lost late-70s track with gorgeous female vocals over Haji & Emanuel’s trademark disco-house production style. Limited promo copies with full vocal on one side, dub on the flip. Herd & Fitz “I Just Can’t Get Enough” Subliminal USA 12 – Subliminal returning back to the vocal side of house with this latest release featuring a 2Risque mix in classic disco-tinged summer house style and an absolutely stunning female vocal. Perfect production to play by the pool when the sun is high in the sky. Horny United “Good Time” Attractive GER 12 – Cover of the old Jermaine Stewart mid-80s radio hit “We Don’t Have To Take Our Clothes Off” in the increasingly ubiquitous Prydz-esque syle with samples of the chorus and original instrumentation worked into energetic house productions. Amanda Lear “Paris By Night” Do It Yourself ITA 12 – longtime French chanteuse returning to the spotlight with this dark, chunky tech-tinged remixes that fit perfectly with La Amanda’s powerful, over-the-top vocals sung in both French and English. Of note is a solid dub reworking by Bini. Lovaboy “Walking On Sunshine” Superior GER 12 – cover of Eddy Grant in a warm, summery yet chunky tech-tinged house orchestration. Fun, well produced cover perfect for the bigoooms during the summer season. Michael M “Dear Diary” Amplitude USA 12 – For those looking for a track with a jaded, cynical vocal this is it, with the male vocalist recalling his misadventures from the night before over a chunky, funky house orchestration with mixes that range from the minimal to bigroom. Mack Vibe f/Jacqueline “Can’t Let you Go 2005” Curve USA 12 – New 2005 reworking of this vocal house gem with Max Graham providing a stunning dark, driving bigroom orchestration that captures the spirit of the vocal perfectly. On the flip, Hoxton Whores provides a driving dub interpretation. Greg O “Secret Weapon” Twisted ENG 12 – Classis Twisted tribal production here with dark, driving rhythm lines, hooky synth samples and vocal cues, and tons of power and energy. Two mixes, perfect for the bigrooms that worship the drum. Kelly Osbourne “One World” Vendetta SPA 12 – the stunning Chris Cox remix finally available on a commercially released vinyl pressing! An amazing remix that preserves the dark, avant-garde feel of Kelly’s vocals while adding just the right amount of punch and power to keep the floors in a frenzy. Release also includes the original radio version. Giampiero Ponte” Shine’ Evidenz FRA 12 - Classic French vocal house cut with a driving diva vocal worked into a solid house orchestration with a slightly techy touch and lots of attitude. Elio Riso & Raffunk “To Be Or Not To Be” Oxyd ITA 12 – Oxyd going for their own “Strings Of Life” moment with this piano-laden orchestration that captures the spirit of classic house perfectly in its production. Two mixes, with the flipside being a bit harder and techier in feel. Robbie Rivera “Sex 2005” Filtered USA 12 – New 2005 mixes of this funky techhouse bomb from back in ’02 with Rivera updating the track in his own harder, more aggressive production style while Ralph Falcon provides an aggressive bigroom production of his own on the flip. The famous male vocal is worked to perfection in both mixes. Lisa Stansfield “If I Hadn’t Got You” White ENG 12 – Return to the public eye for this great vocalist with a new single that perfectly showcases Lisa’s stunning talent. Remixes come from Markus Gardeweg in a funky, slightly techy orchestration, a deeper garage interpretation by Need, and more energetic house interpretation by Digital. Soul Corporation “You Fooled Around” Therapy ENG 12 – Classic Defected-style vocal house production here with a warm, summery vocal, seductive disco-tinged house orchestrations and a flowing, smooth rhythm line. Includes both full vocal and dub versions, and captures the spirit of the season perfectly. Trance & Progressive Benassi Brothers f/Dhany “Every Single Day” D:Vision ITA 12 – Latest single from Benny’s siblings is another energetic commercial production that rides the line between trance and electrotech brilliantly. Dhany’s vocal is once again highly addictive and the production is powerful and energetic. Includes both full vocal and dub versions. Chus & Ceballos “Wrong About Me” Stereo SPA 12 – Spanish tribal-progressive producers back with a smooth, seductive production featuring a haunting male vocal and a deep, flowing reworking from Evovled that works perfectly for those warm humid nights in the club. On the flip is a dark, chunky dub reworking from Lexicon Avenue. Cortina “Music Is Moving 2005” Nukleuz ENG 12 – Hard Dance anthem getting a new update for 2005 as Andy Whitby gives those famous vocal hooks and powerful synths a more UK Hard Trance feel with lots of powerful melodies. Also includes the massive remix from BK back in 2002 that is still a classic in the genre. Dean Coleman “Remember” SR2 ENG 12 – Gorgeous string-infused progressive cut with an uplifting female vocal, spacious swells of progressive synth and smooth shuffly rhythm lines. Release includes an instrumental version and a dub as well for those not fond of the vocal. Derb “Coole Sau” Tracid Trax GER 12 – Producer of the massive “Derbus” back in 1998 returns with a powerful new German hard dance production. Hard-hitting rhythm lines, driving synth lines and tons of energy are the rule in this powerful instrumental cut. Includes a massive remix by DJ Isaac on the flip. 4 Strings “Sunrise” Liquid BNX 12 – New instrumental release from this longstanding Dutch production team with another trademark early morning melodic masterpiece. Two versions, both perfect examples of the high-quality Dutch school of trance production. Max Graham “Autormatic Weapon” Little Mountain BNX 12 – Two gorgeous, flowing progressive house cuts from this producer whose reworking of Yes’ “Owner Of A Lonely Heart” was a major commercial release earlier this year. Haunting light melodic orchestrations woven into flowing rhythms to perfection for fans of the lighter progressive sound. Lennox “EP” Mondo ENG 2x12 – Stunning new release on Mondo for fans of the British school of instrumental trance with gorgeous uplifting melodies, intricate breakdowns and builds, and clean rhythm lines. Two different tracks, with original mixes for both, an Airbase mix on one and an Alex Morph mix on the other. Marco V “More Than A Life Away” In Charge BNX 12 Part 2 – Second set of mixes on this dark, driving vocal trance production with a haunting male vocal over energetic orchestrations and intricate melodies. This release features the original vocal mix and a stunning vocal mix and dub from DJ Suko who gives the production a darker, techier feel. Vengeance “Strap Me Down” Phobos GER 12 – Riding the line between bigroom house and trance-tinged Europop, this is a gorgeous release with a massive female vocal, catchy synth orchestrations that are part Benassi, part circuit-house.
