Coming from LI. going to spirit! it has been awhile since i went into the city for NYE. i either want to get in the city early or go late for afterhours. i think i want to go early though! best bet to take train? i am thinking. all comments help will be much appriciated! thanks cp peeps!

Actually last year thats what everyone told me. But I stayed at a party in Sunset Park till like 1 then drove into Exit. And there was no closed roads or much traffic at all, nice easy trip.
If you're coming before 1AM train, no doubt about that. There's also an R station not far from the west side on 28th and broadway.
After 1 AM then you can probably drive. But why bother, NYE is one of the nights when having to worry about a car kills the whole thing.
