Responsibilities include taking photos of various events and parties
throughout the city. You MUST be extremely outgoing and sociable. We'll
get you in to all the hot parties where you'll be responsible for getting
people together for that perfect "group shot" and promoting the site while
you're at it. This position requires that you are 21 or older and
available to go out a minimum of 3-5 nights per week. If you have a friend,
there is a possibility that the two of you can work together. Email

Responsibilities include updating the venue databases and contacting clubs
for event information. You would be working with databases of all the
flagship cities. A great opportunity to gain experience dealing with venue

This Friday (06/21), The Timewriter featuring: Derek Marin, Mike Bryant
and Mr. Robb. After four solid years of producing some of New York's top
underground events, Matter-Form has taken the necessary leap into club-
land. Beginning June 21, Matter-Form will launch what we believe to be a
rebirth of sorts of New York club culture. Unlike the usual quotidian

This Friday (06/21), GBH presents Kevin Yost and DJ Disciple. Responsible
for classic tracks such as ‘One Stary Night’ and ‘Unprotected Sax’, Kevin
Yost’s Jazz infused style has earned him massive respect as a producer. His
work has appeared on numerous compilation CDs – most recently on Saint
Germain’s current release, the excellent ‘Des Pres Café II’. With remix work
for artists such as Josh Wink, Japan's Kodo Drummers and Daddy's Favourite,
Kevin’s schedule provides little time for much else than producing, though
he still has time to make a handful of DJ appearances. This will be Kevin’s
first time at GBH and he will be joined on the main floor by the excellent
DJ Disciple. In the Pinky room, JazzyNice plays hip hop and classics. In
the Tapioca, Seth plays new wave and rock&roll. Featuring the GBH Dancers
and Miss Understood. Visuals by Funktaxi.

This Saturday (06/22), is the grand opening of Arc. The venue formally
known as Vinyl will be relaunched as Arc this Saturday. Arc, not just a
club, will present an entirely different experience every time you walk
through the doors. A state of the art sound system by Steve Dash, rotating
still and video art installations by some of New York's most innovative
artists, and a general facelift will all work together to create a new vibe
in New York City nightlife, while maintaining the rawness and integrity of
the underground music scene. The new sound system is being custom designed,
built and installed by the legendary Steve Dash of Phazon fame to maximize
the potential of what we already know to be a throwdown dance floor! The
vision is for the walls of Arc to be used as gallery space. It includes
periodic art installations creating a new visual experience every four to
six weeks. Arc`s redesign will include a new light show, new floors, a vamped
up VIP room and more. The renovation of the space will bring a new aesthetic
meant to streamline your experience to the music.
