This Friday (08/16), it's the GBH Residents' Night. Born in Brooklyn to a
family with strong musical ties (his father was the piano player for Miles
Davis, his brother played bass for George Benson) - DJ Disciple found
musical expression through the turntable. His skills and his ability to
show his love for music through DJing has taken him around the world (he
plays more international dates than any other New York DJ you care to
mention) and as a producer he has been responsible for hugely successful
tracks such as 'Put Your Hands Up' and 'Ill Conceptz'. Disciple also
manages to find time to run a record label (Catch 22) and to DJ monthly
for GBH (where one of his funky, pumping sets is known to be a guarantee
of a special night) DJ Disciple will be joined in the main room by GBH
resident DJ's Carl Kennedy and Anthony Mac. While in the Pinky, Frank
Delour and Seth plays hip hop and classics. In the Tapioca room, Mark Kay
plays funk, rock, and R&B. Featuring the GBH Dancers and Miss Understood.
