Summer Internships Available

ClubPlanet.com has five summer internship positions available at our New
York headquarters.

1. MIS Intern: responsible for email, networks, and help desk functions.
Should be familiar with Windows applications. NT and/or Linux experience
a plus.

2. Promotions/Marketing Intern: will work with in-house staff to develop
a comprehensive promotions, marketing. and PR campaign. Includes both
Internet and "real world" promotions and advertising.

3. Listings Intern: will work with in-house staff on listings database,
including working directly with clubs and promoters to obtain information
in a timely and consistent manner.

4. Photography/Videography Intern: will be responsible for shooting
photos and video of clubs and events. Compiling photo archives,
retouching prints, design work. Experience with cameras a must.
Familiarity with PhotoShop, HTML, Premiere, or similar a plus.

5. Web Designer: will be responsible for HTML coding, graphic design,
layout, etc. Should have some previous experience in HTML. Work with
Photoshop, Illustrator, Flash, DreamWeaver, or other similar package a
plus.


All interns will also spend time within the promotions department,
planning events, and fully experiencing New York nightlife. Positions are
full-time for the summer.

Disappointingly, it was mostly old copies of the LA Weekly and few
parking tickets. But, one little item did catch our eye, a package of

would undoubtedly take off our lives.

In regards to Ibiza, I'm sending out a plea for help: A whole gang of my friends are going to Ibiza from June 28-July 5 and they booked their airfare accomodations package through Bring It On Travel. Their travel agent there, Taariq, told my friend Grimace (aka Andrew Virden) that if he could get 25 people to book trips to Ibiza for this summer, through Bring It On Travel, he would get one package deal free. So, (here's the part where I come in!), if they get that free package, it's going to be for me, and I get to go with all my friends on June 28!=) There are already about 10 people on Grim's trip, so we only need to find about 15 people to book trips through Bring It On. Those people can go anytime they want this summer. They just have to e-mail Taariq at taariq@bringitonweb.com or call him toll free at 1-877-883-9070 and tell him that Grimace/Andrew Virden sent you. Grim will get a credit for every person that ends up booking a trip and mentions his name (and I'm that much closer to paradise). Obviously, people would have to book their trips sometime before the middle of June in order for Taariq to have a count of 25 before all my friends leave on June 28. So, any help is appreciated & tell everyone you know who wants to go to Ibiza this summer!!!!!
