If there's one place in the world you go to see celebrities, well that's
actually LA. New York has always had its share of famous faces, but it's
just not the same. Celebrities come to New York because they know they can
blend in, not be noticed. They walk the streets with the same
eyes-to-the-ground gaze as you or I. In fact celebs in New York are so
droll that you often fail to even notice them. At last week's party at
Veruka for the Artist Currently Named Prince, we completely missed Hugh
Grant and John Leguizamo - but we did catch up with the guest of honor
(see our story on clubplanet.com for details). We have, however, recently
made spate of on-the-street sightings, including composer Philip Glass on
St. Mark's Place and oddly, Charlie Rose coming out of a Taco Bell on
