6 years of DJ-ing and working at the core of the underground music industry brings Grant from New Zealand to London, Canada, and here to NYC with his own blend of underground funk. Servicing NYC's top dj's @ Satellite Records and working day and night supporting weekly events of all styles has brought Grant to the top levels of NYC
underground dance music. Grant not only dj's, but produces underground house. His tracks have been played by Danny Tenaglia at WMC Miami 2002/2003 and his latest work (Metrotek by Magal & K1W1) has been included in underground set's from dj's
all over the world.

His latest gigs include opening for Tedd Patterson @ Sullivan Room, BE YOURSELF @ ARC on Halloween with Danny Tenaglia, Closing ARC for Be Yourself Locals Friday, Closing ARC for Ivano Bellini (Be Yourself Friday), & Opening for Behrouz @ Sullivan.

Grant has been playing out on the NYC club circuit for the last 4 years and you may
have seen him throw down regular sets at Vinyl, Arc, Centro Fly, Deep, Novaciento, Big Six, Bar 13, Boogaloo, Liquids, Open Air, Sullivan Room, Remote, China Club, and
Filter 14. Grant also holds down one of the hottest new weekly party's @ Bar 13 (SKOOLNITE), where top NY dj's drop in to rock the DECKS and @ BOOTLEG (Twoboots).

Homegrown is a free weekly showcase of NYC’s local up-and-coming DJ talent. Our sole purpose is to support New York City's thriving DJ scene. No attitudes. No discrimination based on experience. Simply an intimate setting where bedroom DJs get a shot at the spotlight and music heads get a chance to hear the unheard.

Open call to DJs: come down and submit your demos for an opportunity to spin in the future. Four 60-minute slots are available each week to be filled by up-and-comers and bedroom DJs alike, not to mention some very special guests. Come out to support your local talent and have a good time.
