The 2005 House Music Awards, which takes place at the Hammersmith Palais on Thursday 17th November, is set to be the hottest ticket in town as the cream of electronic music gather for the UK’s annual round up of achievements.

Award nominees including The Bodyrockers, Barbara Tucker and Joey Negro will be performing at this prestigious event where industry and public gather for the party of the year. Over 20 Award categories will be presented by Erick Morillo, The Cuban Brothers, BBC Radio 1 DJ Annie Mac and Arthur Baker. The ceremony then turns into the ultimate celebration of music – a full on party with some of the best international talent playing until the early hours.

The HMA’s launched last year, evolving from the 2004 Miami Winter Music Conference as a response to honouring key players in an industry that continues to grow globally on the underground scene as well as driving worldwide chart hits.

The 2004 launch saw thousands of music lovers from all over the world voting online for the diverse categories that make up the HMA’s and this year promises to be even bigger and better after such a strong build up to the Awards in terms of digital music production and innovation in the industry.

The HMA's are voted for by the people that live and love the music – industry and music lovers alike. Unlike other awards, everyone has the chance to nominate and vote for a broad range of categories including Best Album, Best Track, Outstanding Remix, Best DJ, Breakthrough Label, Most Innovative Producer and Best Venue.

You can still vote for the 2005 Award categories listed below so please vote for your favourites now via the website – www.housemusicawards.com - Voting closes at Midnight on 10th November

Tickets now available to the general public via www.*********.co.uk or by calling 08700 600100 – Tickets cost: £22.00 - For VIP tickets and tables please contact kerrie@housemusicawards.com or call 07884 267 336

Can't believe that Morillo's album is on that list. Possibly one of the worst mixes I've heard all year.

I highly disagree with you, thought it was a great CD. Erick just puts tracks on there that are a lil old, but that dosent mean that there not BOMBS!
