Twisted's first releases were back in1998 wen u weren't even born, and for his debut produced Wales, the biggest track on earth and the now legendary World of Cock album. Seeing that he was onto a good thing ,in 2001 DJ SS entrusted him 2 piss in his bed ,and the seminal Lighter Rmx Was Born. Proving that he could mix the rough action with smooth talk, the Tooled Up! LP on Foolmation Records showcased the Twisted sound - he had crafted an album that would get heads talking, and the crowds jumping.

Following the success of Tooled Up!, Twisted found himself in the spotlight, with remix offers and DJ bookings beginning to flood in. Twisted was now able to showcase his skills on the decks all around the world. Picking up regular plays at all the major UK promotions including Slammin Vinyl, One Nation, Telepathy, Best of British, United Dance, Accelerated Culture, as well as residencies at all the Formation and World of Drum & Bass nights all over the World, Twisted is now an exclusive member of the top flight of D&B DJs. Always armed with a bag of fresh dubs to unleash on the crowds, his explosive partnership with MC Biggie has smashed many venues over the past few years. In this time Twisted has also been fortunate enough to have his travels take him all over the world, notching up stamps in his passport and champion hangovers everywhere from Germany to Estonia, USA to Australia, Spain to Brazil and pretty much everywhere else in-between.

As with any popular style of music, when something is successful, the masses will follow, and soon the Twisted clones started to fill the shelves of all the record shops. Not a man known for his restraint, in 2003 Twisted got back in the dungeon and cooked up a message to all those he felt were ripping his sound. Bandwagon Blues exploded onto the scene and instantly became an anthem with rewind after rewind ensuring this was a front runner in every DJ's set. Off the back of his previous success and other tracks such as Rusty Sheriff's Badge, Heavy Metal, and Hand Grenade Twisted found himself up for 3 categories at the 2003 Accelerated Culture Awards, walking away with awards not only for Best Tune for Bandwagon Blues, but also Best Producer.

Since then Twisted has not stopped. Recent tracks such as 'Swan Cake', 'Konga remix' have kept him at the top of his game. His days are now filled with tours and DJ bookings as well as a spending time in the studio working on a whole variety of projects, dnb and beyond for his own Grid Recordings.

When looking back at the history and growth of New York City Drum N Bass there is one artist that stands above and beyond and will always be associated with it's development and glory. This Native New Yorker straight out of Queens holds a heavyweight belt of 11 years and can be considered a king of the jungle for his accomplishments and dj mastery. Christian Bruna stretches far and wide and is globally known as the father of Camouflage NYC. From 1997 to 2008 Camouflage has been rolling right every Tuesday night.

Raw Q aka: Dj Beau - one of nyc's original drum 'n bass djs for 12 years and counting. began producing back in '96 with dj ani (formerly of deee-lite) for dj soulslinger's liquid sky music label. Dj Beau evolved into Raw Q in 2003. continues to dj as a resident of Direct Drive and as a frequent guest dj and supporter of Camouflage, I <3 DnB, No Jacket Required events and many other of nyc's finest dnb nights.


MCDYLZ (St8cyde Jump-Up)
Mc Dylz is one of the freshest new vocal talents to emerge in New York City. His trademark sound, vocal patterns & style are electrifying. Being a founding member of the St8cyde Jump Up krew, Dylz could quite possibly be one the most intense artists you could ever encounter. His passion for music sees no bounds and his drive for perfection only results in an incomparable performance! With an increasingly busy schedule Dylz is out and about "Hypeing" up clubs in New York and abroad! Be sure catch to him, if you can!

Dylan Louis [dylz] started his career in 2001 in Buffalo NY as an apprentice to the areas top DJ's and MC's. He quickly made a name for himself behind the decks earning him a residency at the well respected Return 658 weekly. He is known as one of the pioneers of the nu-skool jump up sound in the northeastern area of the U.S. He then moved to New York City in 2005 to further pursue his music career bringing his style with him.

Dylz started MCing in the summer of 2006 and quickly began climbing the ranks in the scene with his highly energetic sound once more proving the diversity, skill and influence wherever he goes. Also known as the “Hypeologist” Dylz is crafting an undeniable reputation with the ladies throughout the east coast as well as vocally seducing the Drum n Bass lovers across the US.

MC Dylz quickly has gained the attention of the northeastern top promoters showcasing the latest selection in drum and bass and jump up genres.

Playing with such acts as Diesel Boy, Dara, Generation Dub, Twisted Individual, Mickey Finn, logan D and Total Science to name a few. Dylan is now considered to be a hometown hero!

Our mainstay, as always, is the Half Moon, a 200-capacity boat docked at Skyport Marina, at 23rd Street & the East River. The Half Moon is a 2-level boat, with a full bar and bathrooms on the lower level. The dj's play on the upper level, which has a roof, but is open on the sides. There is also a large open deck on the upper level, where smoking is permitted as you enjoy panoramic views of the city and beyond.

As for the renovation, the entire lower level of the boat was redone - new carpets, new bathrooms, new tables & chairs, a beautiful new bar, a food service area, speakers that pump down the music from upstairs and flatscreens that show what's happening upstairs as well. The upstairs is basically the same except for a $50k PA! That loud enough!?!?

Departing from 23rd Street and FDR Drive, the Half Moon heads south along the East River and passes underneath the 3 major bridges (Williamsburg, Manhattan and Brooklyn), then cruises through New York harbor to the Statue of Liberty, which it circles for approximately 30 minutes. It then turns around and makes the same trip again in reverse. The experience of watching the bridges pass overhead while great dj's are rocking 20 feet away is not to be missed!
