Many DJ’s claim to have started spinning records before they’d learned to walk, but in Fergie’s case it must be true. Howe else could you become and internationally renowned superstar DJ at the tender age of 21?
After making his name in Northern Ireland (his first professional gig was at Airport 2000 when he was 14-years-old, when he had to stand on a milk crate to reach the decks!), he famously moved to England at 16 and was introduced to hard house legend Tony De Vit. After drumming up regular guest spots at Trade, Sundissential, GodsKitchen and Passion amongst others, he has gone on to unleash his infectious energy and pumping music policy at numerous places around the world.
These days Fergie has one of the most popular radio shows in the UK on BBC Radio1 (along with Pete Tong, Seb Fontain and Judge Jules). In addition, he holds a residency at Gatercrasher’s new superclub Bed and GodsKitchen (which also includes a weekly residency with Armin van Buuren in Ibiza) and has several productions on the Nukleuz and Duty Free Recordings labels.
