WKDU Electronic Music Marathon 2002

WKDU will hold it's 5th annual Electronic Music Marathon 17 - 20 October, benefitting Philabundance. Philabundance is a local group that rescues surplus food and redistributes it to agencies serving the hungry such as shelters, emergency kitchens, and food cupboards.

The EMM begins at 6:00 p.m. (EST) on Thursday, October 17th, 2002, and continues until Sunday, October 20th, 2002 at 12:00 a.m. Over that weekend, WKDU will be broadcasting live, continuous performances of electronic music that will either be mixed by over 70 local electronic DJ’s or performed live by various local artists and performance groups. Styles of electronic music that will be represented include ambient, house, jungle, techno, and trance. Some featured DJs include: Randall Jones, Carl Michaels, Circuit Breaker, Starchild, and King Britt.
