any ideas on reasonably priced places to stay? i mostly will be using the room for sleep/shower and some of the lower end places have gotten some scathing reviews... any advice?

depends on what type of place you wanna stay at and how many people will be with you. there's gonna be 5 of us, so we decided a condo would be the best for us. check craigslist and vbro.com for short-term vacation rentals. dunno about hotels though... the last time i stayed at hotel for WMC was years ago. we found a pretty decent deal at the Crescent Hotel on Ocean Dr. though.

south beach is expensive. im gunna get hotel rooms early this year for sure.

most likely going with just 1 other friend, so a condo wouldnt seem too practical, but i geuss i'll just keep looking. last time i was down there i didnt spend much time in the room anyways...
