  1. how are you planning that trip? What are you using?
  2. I think you need to check YOUR basic groove....what are you talking about?!!!!
  3. I disagree....when you manually tap in the bpm....the song will speed up or down based on what you tap in. Same thing for when the BeatKeeper automatically does the BPM. Try it...manually tap 8 beats in real slow on a song that is in the 140's. It will slow the song down. So its doing more than just registering the BPM....its speeding up or slowing down the song. Thoughts?
  4. we'll I want to know if its just the way this model is....or if its specific to the one I have. Basically 2 things 1) It will increase/decrease the speed of the song on its own. For example...It will register at say 140 BPM...and will decrease on down to 138.5 at some point...the maybe back to 139.5. Basically it never stays put. This obviously sucks when your trying to match beats...even if you dont use the counter. Say you are matched...then all of a sudden youre not anymore because the machine altered the BPM"s up or down causing you to be off. It affects the ability to stay matched for a long period of time. Does anyone else have this? 2) The other is that it seems to "miss" a beat here and there. I dont know how to best explain it...but it almost sounds like a skip but its not really a skip. It seems to just not hit hard on one beat every so often...often enough though thats its noticable after a while. So I guess I want to know if others are having these problems. If so...is there any way around it? do I have a busted one? Please help!
  5. crazy track.... I think DJ Infinity did the remix
  6. yes...please let us know when PVD is coming back. I havent seen him since August in Boston. I'm going through withdrawal here...lol
  7. Ok this post is for those of you in New Jersey who would like to see a no cover house/trance night in either New Brunswick or the surrounding area on Friday or Saturday. It seems to be of the opinion of the bar owners in the area that on Friday and Saturday nights, the house/trance crowd will not come out to hear that kind of music. If we can use this post as a petition-type thing....where all of you that would come out will respond saying so....then we can then print out this post and show these owners that we do in fact have the crowd to make these nights happen. Let your voice be heard by responding to this post. To all the local DJ's....use this post and the responses to get these owners interested. NOW start posting!!!!
  8. I agree there should be something on the weekend (Fri/Sat) in the new brunswick area...that is cheap and caters to the house/trance crowd. The problem is that the owners of the bars in New Brunwick dont think that the house/trance will bring in a lot of people on the weekends so they stick to kareoke, 80's and hip hop. Ok this is what we will do...if there is a serious calling in this area for house/trance...then please repond to the post I am going to start in the NJ section. I am going to start a post on the New Jersey board that basically will be a petition-type thing. We will let people respond...and if enough people respond..anyone (myself, BG, or other local DJ's that want the ability to spin house/trance locally) can print out the post and bring it to the owners and show them that there is a true calling for this type of music in this area....and that if they let these local DJ's spin their house/trance...it will only benefit the bar. See my post.......thanks DJ Carusomaas
  9. yeah seriously....Queens needs to rid itself of the hip hop heads...and the only way to do that is to get the house/TRANCE crowd there (yes I said Trance). Hip hop heads will leave if people are dancing up a storm to house/trance (yeah I said Trance) in the back. Build it and they will come DJ BG has the ability to bring Queens back to what it was back in the day...the hottest place on campus. 3 years ago...lines were around the corner on a Thurs...every Thurs. Lets bring that back!
  10. I second the HIP HOP CHEEZE getting out of Queens on Thurs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Hip hop over to the rail if you want that.....
  11. its not a new venue...just a new DJ in town.......come out and enjoy!
  12. Whoever has not come out yet to hear DJ BG on the 1's and 2's at Olde Queens is missing out on the heart of Rutger's underground house scene. This Thurs should be big because as rumor has it, he will be spinning alot of new stuff to get the crowd going nuts! Come check out the hottest place on Thurs nights in NJ.......
