Hey all you hartford kiddies, here's the scoop...apparently some guy came in and took all of systems lighting and sound system equipment...and something else about the owner being involved with the mob...i don't know how much of this is true but thats just what i heard...anywho the previous owner of system, David Squilante is now partial owner of Vibe...David also owns Velvet...so as it turns out all of the system dancers and djs are now at Vibe...and I've also heard that Vibe is expanding...if anyone is familiar with Vibe they know that there is a building next door to it...i heard that they are going to be connecting the two building to make a bigger and better club...and i went to Vibe 2 weeks ago and it was banging...everybody should go check it out... ok now its my turn i have been away from the boards for a while but now im back and in full effect...your looking for great after hours clubs, then try System of Vibe...Velvet is just a regular club not an after hours joint...so if you are looking for "real" after hours and can't afford to travel all the way to nyc check out these two spots...I've never been to Vibe, but I used to be a regular at System until all that shit went down back in late January...but whatever shit happens...life goes on and the party never ends...I'm actually going back this Saturday for the first time in almost 2 months...woohoo...I spoke to a friend of mine and he said that he has been going every weekend and nothing has really changed...so thats cool, just be careful...cuz they videotape your id when your going in...and ya well you get the idea...oh and also clubs kinda slow down during the winter months anyway...i mean who could blame people for not wanting to stand in line in the freezing cold...but spring is less then a week away...and everything will go back to normal... So you live in the CT area and don't know what you should do for <A HREF="http://www.clubplanet.com/newyearseve/">new year's</a> ...Well head on down to System(191 Ann St. Hartford) for an unbelieveable party. I don't know how much its going to be to get in but, Charlotte is going to be there, she has two #1 songs out currently and they are "Skin" and "Don't Be Afraid of the Dark"...System never throws a disappointing party so you can be sure that this one will be just as good as the others if not better...I don't know about you, but while others are "ringing" in the the <A HREF="http://www.clubplanet.com/newyearseve/">new year</a> ...I'm gonna be "rolling" in the <A HREF="http://www.clubplanet.com/newyearseve/">new year</a> ...hope to see ya there...But as always be safe...and if you don't come have a VERY happy <A HREF="http://www.clubplanet.com/newyearseve/">new year </a> and I'll see ya in 2001!! alright...why the hell isn't there a board for hartford, where is the love...anywho...i just wanted to let you all know about this great, wonderful, fantastic afterhours club in hartford...shit...its supposedly like a world reknowned club...but anyway...its called SYSTEM...and the address is 191 Ann St...its $15 to get in but it is well worth it...hmm...lets see what else...oh ya water is $3, but you can always go in the bathroom and refill the bottle, lollipops are $1, gatorade is $4, and there is more but i don't remember what they are...during the warmer months they open up the roof where they play music...and you can get fresh air...but sadly enough now that the colder months are here it is currently closed...there are 2 different rooms...and they have male and female dancers to suit everyone...i actually know a couple...i went to high school with one of them and when i saw him dancing there i almost shit my pants but anyway...they are only open on friday and saturday...doors open at 11pm and they say the closing time is 7am but i was there 2 weeks ago until 1/4 to 8....so i think that they are actually open until the party dies down...i think that i should be getting paid for all this wonderful advertisement...lol...hope to see you all there...oh ya i almost forgot they play mostly trance and house... keep on dancing angela aka clubbingirl ------------------ ~*~Dance the Night Away~*~
