Hmm the Devils who? Oh is that the team who up until last season had won the Stanley Cup in 1995... err should I say HALF a Cup. Isn't it funny how my Rangers suck balls year after year and YET still get more press in the tri-state area then the champ Devils. Sorry to say man, but the Devils are an EMBARASSMENT to the league. When you are the Champ ypu are supposed to sell out every game... road and home. And we all know that the Devils do not do that. I personally love going to the swamp and always outnumbering the Devil fans. My goal is to be banned from their "so-called" home (aka MSG EAST). I am already banned from The Maussoleaum (aka fishstick palace, or MSG SOUTH). The Rangers may be horrible, but you know what, it is IMPOSSIBLE to get a ticket to a Ranger game at the box office. While people say that people do not show up the Rangers still make the $$$$$$$$. In sports, it's all about the money. The Devils are really pathetic in their fan base. My brooklyn accent kicks in and out of conversations. In the beginning, I just introduced myself "Hey I'm Anna, from Brooklyn NY" and all I got were dirty looks. So if people ask whether or not i'm from "manhattan" I say no, Brooklyn. Then I get pissed because i have to EXPLAIN that NYC is 5 boroughs.. which is when my NY accent REALLY kicks in. Then the little Mass kids just get scared and run away. It gets quite interesting... then you have to explain that you don't say "manhattan" or "the city that never sleeps" or my favorite most cheesy thing "the big apple" and that you simply say "the city". Some people are so damn corny. Back to the independent chick thing though, I would deffinitly qualify. And I hate it when guys fight over girls. I hate girls who get off on that. Not all girls are like that though. If a guy ever started something with another guy over me, I would walk away from both of them. Nope, you mistaken Love it! Hated it the first few times I went but fell in love with it over last summer. Once I changed the kids I was hanging out with I changed my taste in music completely. Hey how were your finals at good ol' Umass? ------------------ AnnaBanana

My friends and I were planning to get to Twilo for S & D at around 5 am. We decided to go to Exit first, just to kill some time. Now, I have been to Exit before MANY times (hell I remember it as Carbon!) but it was my friends first time they were hyped. We got there around midnight. What can I say? IT WAS THE WORST NIGHT OF CLUBBING (prior to S & D) EVER! The music SUCKED so badly I cannot even find the words to describe just how bad it was. The money drop bull shit was them dropping a few singles of the ceiling. Wow, I have NEVER felt more stupid for wasting $25 in my life... the worst thing by far that I have ever spent money on. My friends and I decided the following: WE ARE NEVER, AND I STRESS NEVER, GOING BACK TO EXIT UNLESS IT IS FOR FREE! We got out of there at around 4:45 am and caught a cab to Twilo for some REAL music. My only complaint about Twilo is that when we got there 5:15 am there were all these people LEAVING and the coat check line was so unorganized it took us about 45 minutes to check our coats in. Then we get inside and OOOOHHHH BBBAAABBBYYY we felt at home! The music was AMAZING and we danced our asses off until around 8:30 am when we couldn't move anymore. I have NEVER in my life felt so safe at a club. I could have come in naked and nothing would have happened to me. In fact my friend made it clear that next time all of us are wearing pretty bras and panties and nothin else I don't think I met anyone from the board because my friends and I stuck to eachother like glue (for safety of course... 3 girls at a club) but like I said, everyone was there for the music and having a great time so we did not feel threatened (like we did at Exit where morons came up to us and started to grope us... i had to threaten them to get them off my back). Overall, the 3.5 hours at Twilo made my night completely. I would have paid $100 for those hours if I needed. Now I truelly cannot understand why ANYONE would think that S & D are bad. They are amazing... Sorry for the long post I just thought I'd share about both clubs last night ------------------ AnnaBanana

My parents are the coolest shit. My dad buys me liquor and when he has poker parties, I usually join him and his friends for a a drink and a Cuban cigar. My mom just assumes that all I do is drink and she's fine with that because "it's just drinking, it's not like she's using drugs." Hell i told them that I smoke up once in a while and take a hit of E when I go clubbing. I convinced them that it's nothing bad. My parents simply trust me WAY tooooo much. Totally agree with you! Especially on the last comment. I've been going to clubs for almost 6 years now and while I like most clubs I get to (yes Exit and SF too!), I ALWAYS look forward to hearing S & D. I always try to keep an open mind and value other people's opinions but I am sorry, S & D are one of the MOST respected DJ acts throughout the world. So to blast them and call them boring is wrong. Then again, there are those hwo DESPISE Junior Vasquez and Jonathon Peters and they have every right to do so... As Karl Marx said, "... to each their own.." I hooked up with a DJ a few nights ago and had the best time of my life. He's not an asshole... in fact, we hit it off very well and we may even hook up again next semester.
