WOW, I can't believe I went in such a rant. Anyway, I guess I was in a weird mood or just tryin to play Devils Advocate..am pretty indifferent to him, since I feel I don't know enough( with my absentmindedness, short-term memory, amnesia) about him to have any strong opinions, just heard hes got great credentials, and that hes from a Jewish family, but does not claim to be religiously Jewish for some reason. He did admit to doing something wrong, but he was careful to use words that are not specific enough in legal terms to directly incriminate him with the specific accusations, after all he is a lawyer. I don't know, i think everybody deserves the bvenefit of the doubt, or a second chance...thats all!

I know what u r saying, but I am just considering all that we don't know about the situation, like what mysterious forces lead him to temptation to commit such acts, and I mean he probably does have a lot of enemies in and out side of the govt who proobably have commited similar acts and just haven't been caught yet.( I wonder who else in the government is on that client Emperor VIP club list that we don't know yet..even the FBI is not perfect and have been accused of very questionable, and even atrocious practices in the past,and we don't hear so much about those things, because its the FBI! And I am not allowing and relying on just the media to give me all of the info necessary to rush to judge, since they are not unbiased, and unfortunately, they have their own agenda too( and one maybe being that they just don't like spitzer because of his accomplishments).

So he resigned today..I kinda feel bad for us as new yorkers, for him and his family that such a negative experience occurred for us all. All the best to him, his family and our new Governor Paterson...our 1st disabled and black governor.

Its great to have good memories of the scene u can't forget! PRICELESS! unless u have amnesia in the US of Amnesia..then that Sucks! ...and cool idea to merge the NY NJ boards together, reminds me of the Giants!

LOL...too funny..and that he may have been a regular too and into unsafe practices ...was plannin to write a letter to him, guess I will send to the New Atty General. I think his wife did a great job of looking awfully calm while he made the public statement(seeing her give him a smack in the back of the head would have been comical lol), but in her look I saw a hint of impending doom despair. As I said on another board, i think he is influenced by being a product of his environment in more ways than one! A lot of crap has occurred in this environment in New York recently too. Its enough scandal for a made-for-TV movie, and hey maybe one will be in the works!

As I try to recall, I think Crobar NY with some of its goofy staff was a very cool venue, it would be great if they open again, and at a space maybe somewhere on the East side( east village, lower east side, tribeca for a change, since most of the clubs seem to be on the west side...
