Hooray for the Yankees!

Watch out Baltimore..... we got you right were we want ya!
Ok, heres the big reason why the Yankees have been so great as of late. They are 0-25 with the bases loaded!! Let me repeat that 0-25 w/ the bases juiced!! I mean come on with numbers like that its no surprise that the Yankees have been awesome. They were talking about this on ESPN radio yesterday and how its the worst drought since the addition of the DH in the AL. So what happens last night when Matsui comes to bat with the bases full? The guy rolls a weak grounder to second for the third out and the Yanks leave the inning with nothing. At least last year when the Yankees were playing shitty their offense carried them with comeback wins and would come out of the inning with at least 4 runs in these situations. This year, its a completely different story. They constantly find ways to kill a rally. No one is stepping up, Arod has been stuck on 49 RBI's since week 2, the Captain cant drive in a run with the game on the line, Matsui forgot how to hit hr's, RJ has yet to show a dominant pitching performance, Moose is either really good or really bad, friggin Pavano likes to "look" like a pitcher only on the road, the list goes on and on. The sad thing is, in their recent slide, they have been in almost every game. But they just keep finding new ways to lose. Someone stop the bleeding!

They are playing well, even with the injuries to Javy and Roberts. Still waiting for them to break down.

befrore the Yanks ripped off the big winning streak , everyone predicted that they wouldnt sniff .500 till around mid June so aother bad losing streak happens and were back on that timetable ...thats all.
Im still not ready to pull the plug , but it doesnt look good , Your right NO one is seeming to step up and stop the madness.
Long road trips dont help and losing series to teams your suppose to beat will bite us in the ass if were still in it come Sept.
Just be happy Bosox and Os are losing as well , and both are still in striking range.

The good thing about baseball is its a long season. There's still a 100 games left to be played so there's time to turn it around. They gotta stop with this win 10 lose 10 bullshit.

sweet thread.

I think another telling stat about the yanks is they are like 0-24 when trailing after 7. Unlike last year when the had 92384729384729837 come from behind wins.

the sox on the other hand can't pitch, hit, or field right now. Lookin good, also the manager is taking out manny out of left so the millar can get some at bats. Are you fucking kidding me? Lets see if wells can keep the cards under 8 runs.

why didn't we sign eckstein again? He has to be the greatest jew-stop in the history of the game. And we drafted his ass.

I would of taken him and used the extra money to sign some more pitchers or something.

Are you kidding? Edgar Rentaria hello! The guy went like 14-16 against us during the last series. I know that most Yankee fans are a lil spoiled but you guys are starting to catch up.

the guy has made 11 errors and can not hit right handed pitching. But that is not the big thing what i am saying is instead of rent who is not all that bad we could of signed ecks for cheaper moeny and then used that money to sign better relief pitching.

I like rent, he is a great player, but watch ecks play. I think he signed for 3 mill we signed rent for 10 so that is an extra 7 mill for 4 years we could of used. Just saying.

You should've just kept Cabrera... He thrived in one of the toughest cities to play in... He was clutch for you guys...

Do you mean they are 0-25 on the season or just 0 for their last 25?? They can't be 0-25 on the season cause A-Rod hit a grand slam when he had the 3 hr game against the angels...

yeah that seemed fishy

I also do not think that they have had 25 bases loaded oppertunities since then.

It was 0 for their last 25 opportunities. The last one was Bernie's grand slam against the Mariners I think. But its all good now cuz A-rod just came through with a single.
