I dont really look at this as a good thing. I think they would have been much better off giving him the contract he was looking for. I read a bunch of quotes from New England players saying what a big loss this is for the team. I just dont know how long they can survive losing all of these players. Then again Belichick is a genius so I wont put anything pass them

Definitely not a good move for this season. However, I don't think Branch is worth a first round pick so I can see the Pats reaping the rewards from this over the next couple of years... Especially if the Seahawks perform below expectations and the Pats wind up with a higher 1st round pick from it...
