And the Yankees don't need an overhaul. Are you serious? Do you even realize how much younger and better the Ynks have gotten in the last 1-2 years? Cano, Melky, Joba, Hughes, Wang, Kennedy, Ohlendorf, etc. They've revamped their entire starting rotation and will slowly start to phase out the older guys like Jeter and Giambi.

However, I DO believe they should revamp their coaching staff. Guidry simply does not make pitchers better. And Torre doesnt seem to manage young players well. Girardi did well with the marlins and their young players so that could work. and i hate larussa. plus i think him and jocketty would come as a package and i dont want to see cash go.

it sucks that the yankees arent playing for world series rings anymore, but give me a fucking break. they make the playoffs every year and theyve been to the WS SIX fucking times in the last 10 years and have won 4 of them.

They don't call it the Yankee Invitational for nothing.

they definitely underperformed this year. but how is it any less of an accomplishment if they had to play .700 ball in the second half or if they played .500 ball? either way they made it. and again, what was your response to the redsox missing they playoffs last year with their giant payroll?

Not impressed with the Indians at all, btw. I think the Sox could sweep them. I also cant believe that either the Rockies or Dbacks will be in the WS. The mets had a fucking clear path to the WS and they blew it. Seriously, it was fucking paved and everything, but they fucking suck, so what're you gonna do, you know?
