jayp Posted January 28 Report Share Posted January 28 Originally posted by jaykay any songs in particular i should download???? click here since im too lazy to redo my list. thats my tops from last year. as for mixing em, its a major struggle until you get the hang of it, and even then its difficult. unlike house trance etc. they dont follow the same beat structure, so you have to mix on the "highs" instead of the "lows." that and if you dont get it right when u first push off, its harder to correct in mid mix than house is. so thats why you'll only get a 2-3 hour set out of a breaks dj. its much more strenuous. not to mention there isnt normally a building process in a set, you kinda just come on and slam it.
