When you are talking about urine tests? I'm talking inhalation of a very small quantity - say two hits.

However, it also depends on the nanogram amount of the cutoff. For the military iit's 15ngs per ml of creatine. However, civillian employers may be lower. meaning you could still have some of the marijuana metobolies left at a lower ng rating and still fail.
I work with the Unit Prevention Leader at my Work and we have been through all of the UA schools about collection procedures and so forth.
best advise, don't smoke.
Additionally, if you are worried - drink plenty of fluid and pee alot prior to going into the test. Drink a creatine shake to boost your creatine levels because the test are balanced against creatine. Not to say it will lower the amount of THC metablies, but will boost up the creatine, more of one means less of another.
depends on metabolism and body fat percentage.... 2 hits .. if you havent smoked at all 60 days prior... and took two hits... are average size ... no more that 3 days...Originally Posted by raver_mania
On a side note... if you're a diabetic or have any kind of kidney disease you'll very likey have a false postive for weed on a standard test....
standard cutuff for NIDA 5 or 6 panel is 50ng for screening and 15ng for quantitative analysis via gas chromatography.... the dilution method you've described ...is outdated..... creatine levels are tested only to verify that the sample hasn't been adulterated with excess creatine (a common practice used by people who "dillute" they way you describe) and excessive amounts of creatine in a urine sample would cause the sample result to be reported as an "adulterated sample"(just as bad as a positive to an employer or parole officer) ...Creatine also has absolutely no effect on the test's ability to detect any other metabolites... http://www.thedrugtest.net/adulteration_screening.htmlOriginally Posted by therunner
There have been major advancements in urine analysis and alot of what's on the net is outdated.... I personally just got hold of this info about a month ago (sales rep came to my office to pitch this)
PS... Quest diagnostics is already using these strips for screening... and they're the "lab of choice" for most companies
