Question Saturday 7/20 suggestions?
(Looks both ways before un-lurking from corner)

Hello...

I need a word of advice. A bunch of us missed my friend's birthday last week - like forgot it completely I know, SO awful! We want to do our best to make it up to her by taking her out this Saturday. We are often a Velvet/Nation-going crowd, but she wants something different. I know (and hope) I'll get some different opinions on this. Where would YOU go and why? Any info/opinions much appreciated! Thanks for any help

What does she mean by "different"? Otherwise, I'd check out Stereo at the Edge.

I think by different she means not Nation and I'm guessing not gay (her choice not mine, please no flames, no homophobe here.) She's not into "dressing to impress" either. And she's a trance girl (again *her*), so Five's out... Thx again!

Isn't 5 hip hop on Saturdays?

Ummm.. Trance would usually mean Glow, which is fine if yshe wants to spend her birthday being groped and ground into hamburger by random guys. However, I noticed there's nothing on Glows schedule for this weekend.

Blue Room in Adams Morgan is a nice loungy/clubby place, though I think they spin House on Saturdays.
