Pop Ups

I got my lap top and cable modem but when I go on the internet all thes pop ups pop up. (sounds like a tongue twister Hehe) There are a zillion of them. I can't close em all so I can't do shit but watch em pop up. Is there a way past this?

try this -- a free pop up blocker you can download. if that particular one doesn't work for you, there are a ton of others you can try .. . just do a Google search for "pop up blocker"

Thank you. We will see if this works when I get my computer back. I really hope it does. I also gotta get the administrators password form my friend cause I can't install or unistall anything. Thats my fault not asking certain questions I might need to know. Would a web cam work good or would it be to slow? I don't know the speed of the computer or whatever it is. I hope this was a good deal. I basically just want the internet.

What cookiegirl said, the pop-up stoppers work pretty well, but sometimes they block legit pop-ups (like address forms and stuff when you request something).

I'm kidding of course.....my bf does tell me I look like a porn star though. He says I have that innocent but not so innocent look. Should I be proud of this
