OK so being as how I'm temporarily holed up in NY, I missed out on all the events that you foo's have been jibba-jabba'ing about all week. Did you guys actually go to them? How were 1223 and Five?? Reviews peas!

On Friday, I went to Lucky Bar, 1223, and Acropolis before heading over to 5......they were playing hip hop @ 1223! I think they may have switched over to dance music right as I left. Then, @ Acropolis, we went since I thought Yiannis was spinning, the door guy told me he was supposed to be, but then cancelled. Finally decided to go to 5, probably should have just gone there in the first place, b/c it was really bad-ass. My friend dragged me off the dance floor @ 4am since she was tired. What a pussy. Anyways, Alex was great, hopefully it will become a regular thing for him to be spinning @ 5. Right Tini!!!!

hip hop?! haha are you kidding? I thought omar said he'd "never do hip hop again - it's a waste" or something like that. I know 3rd floor is still house, Dan's still up there, but this would make the 1st and 2nd floor a big waste of time. booooo.

I wish I could have gone to see Alex spin... sucky on New York! Oh well. Did he move back from Cali? cause it would be kinda hard for him to come here regularly from there...

No he is still in San Fran but he mentioned to me possibly coming back on a regular basis.

Oh ya, that really sucks. Well you could just go see Trendroid, or Low End Specialists, or Tenaglia, or Howells, or any number of top DJs that spin there on a monthly or weekly basis....argh!

Trust me, big sucky on DC!
