i have no idea where the old one went...

I was stuck on the subway for 30 minutes this morning between Rosslyn & Foggy Bottom and I wrote a haiku 'cause I was bored

Ken thinks its pretty good I call it "Cold Day in Hell"

Ate red m&m
Washed it down with Absolut
Listened to Feelgood

I think that last line might me 6 syllables

a boy named vic harasses
vengeance shall be mine

gets substance from cranky friend
memory no more

Can someone explain the rules please? The last time I even saw a haiku was in 10th grade english and I don't remember shit about it.

A haiku has 5 syllables in the first line, 7 in the 2nd, and 5 in the third (5-7-5).

Technically speaking, it also has to include something about nature. I think anything that goes 5-7-5 is acceptable here.
