And to tack on another question... how late in the season is it open? Does it close labor day or go right through 'till the weather gets too cold?

I have been told till Columbus Day. Which is not bad at all. But the reason I ask is that they want to bring some bigger named DJs in September through the closing of the season. I saw the pictures and admittedly I do love Open Air events.

I have been to AIR 3 times. Attractive International crowd. Fun time. Lines have been fairly long from 11 and on. Trance and house music on Sat. Nice light show to go along with the music. I recommend renting a "tent" or sofa with friends ( anywhere from 350 -1200 for the group), which gets you around the lines.

I've been there 2 Saturdays. 1st time my friends had a tent & had a good time. 2nd time (a couple of wks ago) we got in, 20 mins later it started raining & the security guards started kicking everybody out yelling to get out (in the freaking rain!), no refunds or comps for a later time (it sucked ass)

Make sure there's no chance of rain if u go...
