Guy in our SF offices has that phone except w/ Cingular service. That phone rocks. You can get a Bluetooth wireless headset which is very cool. I had phone envy when he showed me this phone. I didn't know ATT had the same phone. I may have to get one too!

GSM network is fine in the DC area. And if you can't get a GSM signal, the ATT phone switches over to their standard digital network, so it's no big deal. GSM's the way to go, though. Saves a lot of hassle when travelling abroad.

T616 gets crap reception. it's almost as bad as the T62.
coupled with the AT&T network, it's guaranteed to drop LOTS of calls.

exactly. all ericcsoin phones are pathetic..even this cam one (i used it briefly this past summer)....they have piss poor response (press a button, takes 2-3 seconds to respond) plus switchin to gsm in dc is a big fuck no. dc/md gets poor ass reception dnt know about va... this being said ive had gsm and the sonyericson t68 for the past year now and its a major pain in the ass..just looks good...

i should have never switched from nokia...my baby...

im just waitin for this to get here...now thats a fuckin phone and a half
