One of the strongest names in the Washington, DC drum'n'bass scene, Ransom has been involved locally since the mid-90s, playing the DC/Baltimore club/rave circuit since the spring of 1998. He’s no stranger to the nation circuit either, playing events and clubs such as Platinum, Eklektic, Quest, Buzz/Sting, Drum and Bassics, and Phuturo / Phuncktion. He founded the dcdnb listserv, served as a dnb specialist at Cap City Records, co-founded DC’s successful Act Your Age party, and stayed actively involved with countless other events such as Volume, The DC Skillz massives, Varispeed and much more.

Bobby has helped to settle and establish the more soulful sounds of drum and bass in the DC metro area, providing top-notch residencies and managing quality events, including his more recent production at Club Five, which has booked such strong acts as Goldie, LTJ Bukem, Doc Scott, Bailey, Hive and much more.
